UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
UFO 50 is unbelievable. You're not necessarily going to play every game for hours on end but they're all good video games without caveats and there are 50 of them. It really is as simple as that.
Not all of the games were my thing, but others were very good. 50 is a lot of UFO, so it's worth the purchase.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

If you want to give every game in the bundle a fair chance, two hours isn’t enough. I gave it a try and at least launched every game. About half of them were an immediate “No!”; I played the next 20 for a few minutes, and only about five really caught my attention. And I would have come back to them if I didn't went for the refund. But even those five games were “good” at best. Maybe they become great if you play them long enough, but I think a game should be great from start to finish. So, for me, this collection is way overrated and definitely not the masterpiece that some people try to make it out to be. I wish the developers had focused their efforts on fewer games and made sure they all stood out for the right reason, and not just for a gimmick.
UFO 50 easily stands as the best bang for your buck that you can find in gaming. It's a massive collection of smaller games that are headed by the Spelunky developer that pulls from the retro era of gaming, working within the limitations of older game design while sprinkling in a few modern twists. There are so many different genres and ideas to explore that there's certainly a favorite out there for everyone; no two tier lists of UFO 50 I've seen are the same. One of the advantages of having a collection such as this is exploring many ideas that would have had difficulty standing as their own games; that's not to say that these games are bad in any way, but rather many of these games can only be explored in such detail and polish in this environment where the return rate is actually worth it. I think the greatest achievement of UFO 50 was its ability to get me to enjoy genres I usually avoid. Some things I would never pick up based on tags alone is 4X, RTS, even most strategies and puzzle games as these typically drag on. And yet many of my favorite games in the pack falls within these genres, which just speaks to how effective the format of having fifty games are that can often be played rapid fire. To anyone considering getting into UFO 50, know that you can play in any order, and the first game is even purposefully obtuse pushing players to try other games in the pack. I really think regardless of your taste it's worth giving everything a solid try at least once, because there's some real gems in here. Another neat part of the game is how it actually has in-game lore of a fictional game company that saw moderate success, as each game gives tidbits of fictional history and there's even a series of games that evolves the mechanics as the company progresses through the years. This isn't just a collection of games but an entire timeline thought out, with many full-length games in the latter half of the pack. UFO 50 is a tribute to old gaming and is a must play. Clearing all 50 games is one of the most difficult challenges I've ever done, but it was worth seeing every one through as my gaming skills were challenged in every which way possible. The community is still really lively too two years later with its fair share of fan-games and mods, meaning that even after an absurd amount of content there's still always more fun to be had. Personal favorites - Devilition, Velgress, Bug Hunter, Party House, Mini & Max
PLAY FOREVER
Disappointed. Purchased because it reviewed so well, I guess on nostalgia... I grew up through the 80s and 90s playing games of that era. I tried every game here, all 50... and while there's a few that I threw a couple retries at, even those weren't really fun. And most were an immediate 'nope, back to library'. There's nothing here I'd ever want to play again, or feel any desire to complete. Regret the purchase and the time spent trying them all more. Wish I could refund. 16 hours may seem like I enjoyed myself, but it is only about 20 min per title.
I've spent 12 hours on this game and so far I've only played and beaten two games. (Barbuta & Bug Hunter) Can't believe I still have 48 games to play. Definitely getting my money's worth. If you grew up play retro games, don't even hesitate getting this game.
Gratuitous. The absolute AUDACITY of having some of my favorite indie games of the year being ONE of FIFTY?!
Brought me back to when I got the NES and SNES classic and absolutely fell in love for almost every game in the collection (not you hot foot & fist hell). There is a game for everyone on this collection and I truly wish it got more recognition.
Half of the games in this are kind of mid at best, but... that still leaves the other half, which makes for 20+ small but reasonably complete and most importantly fun and creative games. Seems like a good deal to me. Barbuta in particular really grew on me.
