UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Reviews
Sadly I have to give this a down vote. Great concept, and I am nostalgic for some games from that era. But for anyone who experienced the golden age of early consoles, all the way back to Atari, the truth is, most of the games were bad. This is the case for UFO 50. There were some good games that I enjoyed for a while, but most, 40+ were so bad I stopped playing in a minute or two. An argument can be made hey, you liked a few games, you played 7 hours, it's worth the sale price. I will grant that. BUT, dusting off those titles should have had a gleam of anticipation, of excitement, that a good game was lurking close-by. That faded quickly as dud after dud was revealed.
Party House is a fanstasic wee deck builder that is worth the entry price alone. There are also 49 other games in here

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

all these games suck.
thats 49 more games than usual
This is the most "Video Game" of all time.
They decided to "update" mid NES games for the modern audience. All of the worst elements of playing on original hardware, long loading screens, waiting three seconds because they want to have an authentic lack of paralax one second, but want to have the modern slow pan to the object you're supposed to interact with for the modern audience. If you have played almost everything on the NES, and have recently suffered a traumatic brain injury this might be the game for you, everyone else just go play some old games.
I am not even close to playing all 50 games and I absolutely love it! There is something for everyone in this collection, if you have even the smallest bit of appreciation for retro games! There is a sense of mystique and discovery to this collection. I haven't felt this way towards any game since I was a young kid playing my dad's Atari computer games, digging through his floppy disks, discovering new games to play and enjoy! Or the first time I turned on the NES to play classics that forever changed my life. Every single game feels like is was masterfully thought out and tested over and over 'til perfection was met! The developers really created something special with UFO 50. Hope to see more entries like this in the future. Will be cherrying all of these eventually!
I may come back and give a more in-depth review once I've sunk a few hundred more hours into it, but UFO 50 is wonderful in every sense of the word. This is a game that I think you can only really properly review after AT LEAST 10 hours, so keep playtime in mind when reading other reviews. It's important. There's just too much game to see. Not every game in the collection is for everyone, but I don't think that's a bad thing. The point is to get you playing more games. I've fully completed 16/50 games, and I've barely touched half of the remaining ones. Of course, all of this is under the assumption that UFO 50 is just a collection of games, and it's not. I don't want to say much more, but please, play as much of this game as you can without looking up anything.
50 games!?!? Yes, but all of them suck.
