Reviews
Judging by other reviews it looks like some people are having issues knowing what this game is, so first I'll explain, then I'll review it

What is it:
It is a roguelite defense game where you type modifiers (on the left) and a gun type (one the right) to make combinations that destroy the various enemies that move towards you. It is a roguelite in the sense that after every wave you get to pick upgrades to current modifiers/guns or new ones. Of course, you earn xp (that's what it's called, poor choice but that's what it is) while playing that you can then spend to get permanent upgrades. This is what my understanding of a roguelite is (that term seems to change a lot) you do a run slowly choosing powerups until you beat the run, you spend points to get permanent upgrades, you do it over again. Other reviewers didn't see the loading bar on modifiers and guns in the preview videos so I will note that you cannot just type pistol as fast as you can over and over and win. Each word has it's own cooldown and you can only use it when the word comes off cooldown. A nice feature (that also ruins the fun) is that you can still type the word out and just press enter when it comes off cooldown. Also, if you type a long string of words and press enter while one of the words is on cooldown that word is just ignored.
My Review
This concept is really fascinating in my opinion. The Good

I like how stressful it gets as you frantically try to type a string that is able to kill the enemies that are slowly approaching you.
Choosing the right combination of modifiers on the right gun is really fascinating. For example, the plasma gun shoots balls that deal repeated damage + “seeker” makes the balls track enemies + “split” splits those balls into more balls with the same properties
Typing fast and accurately makes a huge difference
There is a mode that allows you to just click the modifiers instead of typing. This disables achievements and gives less xp, but it’s great fun to just mess around and see what can happen
The Bad

The game balancing (more on that at the end)
The requirement for certain modifiers or weapons. This is mostly regarding 2 things. 1)You will have a MUCH better run if you can get past shields somehow. There are a handful of guns that can do that. 2) Some way to heal is basically required as some enemies shoot bullets (that can be destroyed), but it feels highly likely they will end up going through you and just being able to heal that little amount of damage feels pretty essential
The art style makes it hard to see what you have typed. It adds to the vibe, but it would be nice to get rid of the explosion at the bottom of the screen whenever you type a letter.
The Balance If you want to know how to win the game as quickly as possible: 1) pick a weapon that can go through shields and just start picking any perks that level it up. 2)At the same time pick modifier words that help it. 3) literally just start spamming that over and over. There is really no incentive to use a variety of weapons or modifiers when taking the time to type out a stronger thing will just wipe the entire board. Like I mentioned earlier you can type the words while it is off cooldown, so by the time you have it typed out they are all off cooldown.
TLDR
Watch the videos, it’s very easy to determine what the game is. The game’s balance is a bit off, so I wouldn’t expect much gameplay after a couple hours at most. Overall it is quite fun though!

Started playing t o learn dvorak under pressure, working out quite well[at least the pressure aspect]. although your build matters more than the wpm it seems. Love the music, worth playing\is fun
Never thought I would take not pressing the ENTER key in typing games for granted, This game requiring you to press enter after typing each individual word makes the quality of life of the game worse. Good thing you don't also have to press SPACEBAR to type another word after that. Game has promise but I wish not to be apart of it.
