I am not sure I want to recommend you this game - because it REALLY needs perfect cooperation, otherwise you will fail. And you will fail a lot... so this might be DANGEROUS for not-so-stable relationsships. You have been warned! After a terrible accident, the body-parts of two dead police officers are stiched together to create ONE police officer. Legs, arms, even the brain... two players control each one side. Only cooperation lets you move, shoot, defuse bombs, drive cars and even SPEAK! This is not as ludicrously difficult as in Manual Samuel or Octodad, but you will get serious disadvantages if you do not focus your fire or coordinate your movement. If you work against each other, you will be short-lived. The game itself is a top-down shooter, looking like Hotline Miami (ok, more like Bloodbath Kavkaz, this game ain't no beauty!), but you can take a lot more damage before you die. To prevent the game becoming repetitive, there are quite a few mini games included, from making a bro-fist to defusing a bomb. The story is a spoof of the mindless action movies from the 80's, watched on VHS. Even the sound is as awful as directly from an old worn-out VHS tape. Shoot the baddies, ask questions later. The gameworld is full of easter eggs from the 80's, the dialogue with your breakneck boss is unbelievably funny. Works fine with gamepads (2 recommended). Can be played alone (which is half the fun). [u][b] Conclusion:[/b][/u] One of the most fun and original couch co-op games available.

Me and my friend haven't beaten this game yet, but the further we get, the more excited we get to find where else the game goes! Twinsanity is a lot of fun to perform and the game feels hectic and wild in a way that's much more fun to enjoy with a pal. The game was a little slower with the graphics turned all the way up, but it's still a crazy visual spectacle on "fastest" graphics. If you have two controllers, I'd highly recommend buying this game!

Arguably my favorite game going right now! Do you want to revisit old school game play? Check! Want a fun game to play in a Co-Op environment? Check! Want an awesome 80s style soundtrack? Check! How about a gruff and clueless boss to give you missions? Check! The mechanics are super solid, the graphics are perfect for the genre, and the game is challenging and fun! Especially when you're sitting right next to your twin on the couch and THEY WON'T GO IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!!!! This is an awesome indie game and it deserves your support. Would you rather spend $65+ on the latest MK title that is then gonna rip you off with a bunch of micro transactions or spend $15 on a full, brand new game, and support indie developers everywhere. I know which choice I made!

awesome game. i bought it today and have only played a little so far but have played it a ton at cons around Atlanta and elsewhere. very confident in saying that this is one of the most fun and original couch co-op experiences out there. An amazing game to play with a friend. I've actually also tried the single player some today and can confirm it accurately captures the experience of playing with someone else: chaotic and violent and crazy in the best way.

The premise for this couch coop game is really clever, the whole controlling half of a cop thing. I love the art style/theme of this game too. Everything is so juicy and just feels right. How does it play? Finding a buddy to play locally isn't always an option. There are a couple of single player modes. I played robot mode. Robot mode isn't the ideal way to play a couch coop game but I can vouch for TwinCop's single player. It is satisfying. I've played about 2 hours and I'm not even close to finishing it. I've died multiple times but respawning doesn't feel like a chore and I always know what I did wrong and get it right the next time. That is a clever design. So..play this with a friend or try the robot mode (you will probably want to do both!), great fun and highly recommended!

I'm about an hour into this game (on my friend's account) and I can already tell it's special. The mechanics are crazy fun and my friend and I have been laughing the whole time we've been playing (no friendship-ending fights yet). If you've got friends and maybe even a couple drinks on hand, I HIGHLY recommend playing this game, lol. Killa Kill is the best character, sorry bout it

Very fun and original idea. The twin stick mechanic with two players is hilariously difficult to learn, but there's some serious fun in doing so. Especially with someone else. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for a fun and unique co-op experience.

Twincop is a special game, and part of a revival of local co-op games I've been seeing recently. It manages to capture the fun of co-op with a twist: 2 controllers, one playable character. That seems like a recipe for chaos and Twincop embraces that, with zany attacks, a popping neon 80s aesthetic, and a truly unique gameplay hook. Not to mention a smooth sync wave soundtrack. The result is mayham and destruction and shouting and laughing. This is a fantastic game for parties, as the mayham is entertaining for the audience as well, maybe more so in my experience. The writing is a hilarious satirical take on 80s and 90s buddy cop and action movies. The devs even let the player in on some of the fun and a way I'll let you find out for yourselves. Twincop is a BLAST with friends, and obviously designed for two players. I appreciate also that the devs took the time to add single player options while still putting tweaks on it to compensate for your missing Twincop buddy. Adding the tweaks was a smart way to give a different experience solo as well as a fun challenge option. Righly recommended!
