Take control of an adorable turnip who happens to be an absolute menace to society. After failing to pay taxes and getting evicted from your home, you must go on an epic quest to pay back your massive debt to Mayor Onion. Solve plantastic puzzles, meet eccentric vegetables and fruits, and take on treacherous fights against animals both big and small. Fantastic game! Easy to play but challenging bosses at the same time. The art style is fantastic too. I love how there's mystery, plot, and drama! This game is so worth it!
Cute and light. I beat it in an afternoon. The writing is fun and the jukes land, the plot is kinda interesting too! The gameplay is mostly unchallenging, but the last handful of bosses are well designed and fun. A very good rainy Sunday playthrough

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion Review: Turnip Boy is honestly a nice little refreshing Zelda-style dungeon crawler that combines quirky humor with simple but addictive combat. The games definitely not hard... I don't remember dying to any of the bosses. Maybe once or twice. This is a game where you'll fall in love more with the world-building and dialogue more than the gameplay, which is mostly solving puzzles or fighting enemies with a one button attack. There is like a boss rush mode at the end which I didnt expect, so that does add a little post game replayability which is nice. Overall, I think it took me like 4 hours to beat the game. I enjoyed all of it, it kept me engaged and the story was fun. Definitely wouldn't personally buy full price, but this game is always on sale. Overall I'd give this game a 7.5/10! Pros: Good Music Cute Graphics Fun Dialogue Not serious Easy to pick up Cons: Pretty Short Not much depth or difficulty. Would recommend! :)
You would expect this game to just be commiting crimes right? Right? Well, wrong. This game is a sort of experience that manages to make me laugh and make me go "Wait wtf" at the right times. Haven't finished, but I think I'm close. You should buy this if you're a fan of Zelda-like games. Update: I BEAT THE GAME THE SAME DAY I POSTED THIS LOL

Really fun little game! I got it in a bundle a few years back but only just gave it a go. It's a casual and fun, vegetable-centric rpg where you collect hats and tear up tax documents with abandon! There are a few little nods to other rpgs and different ending to find too. If you want an afternoon as a trouble-making turnip then I highly recommend this.
