The Senex Bird is a unique game that is far more than it appears at face value. At first, the game shows us its silly elements, with things like a separate world where only cows live, and the fact that almost everyone in the game is an old man named ____bert. The main character of the game is Grullobird, a 'senex bird', which, as the game puts it, is a combination of a bird and a senex; a "geezer as old as the hills." While the game may seem like a nonsensical, lighthearted adventure at first, while playing through it, I realized it's much, much more than that, and actually contains deep themes and elements that are all too understandable. The Senex Bird is like an adventure game, with most of its aspects relating to finding items, doing certain things in order, or solving puzzles. Many of the puzzles are arcade-like, like one of the earlier ones where you must consume meat on a conveyor belt. Every mini-game is unique, and some of them require a good deal of thought and out-of-the-box thinking, which was nice. Some of the puzzles immensely push the boundaries of what RPGMaker can do, and they impressed me greatly. I don't want to spoil too much about the plot, but the game explores various interesting themes, like the concept of good and evil, loyalty, and even capitalism. To conclude, the Senex Bird is a wonderful game that I wholly recommend. It's both lighthearted and serious, silly and deep, and thoroughly interesting the whole way through. It's a surreal adventure that's also incredibly tragic and relatable.

The Senex Bird is a truly unique game with a peculiar, but weirdly enchanting sense of humor. The silly antics, terrible puns and hilarious characters will make you laugh over and over again. It’s also strangely charming – and has a lovely soundtrack! It’s even more remarkable that a game with such a ridiculous premise manages to tell an engaging story that ends on a very satisfying note. Highly recommended for everyone with a silly sense of humor. It’s a true gem and unlike anything I’ve played!

Bought this game after watching the super weird trailer and trying the demo and I wasn't disappointed! It is one of the weirdest games I've ever played so far and I love it! I usually don't write reviews, but I want to recommend it to anyone who likes unusual experiences, bad puns and weird dialogues. I didn't finish the game yet and don't know where the story will go, but it looks great so far and it has a little mystery vibe, which I like. The minigames/puzzles are mostly fun aswell and the soundtrack is quite cool. There's kinda much to read and no battles or RPG mechanics, but if you're okay with that, I would definetely recommend giving it a try, up to now I had a really good laugh and enjoyed it very much! :D

The Senex Bird is a fun and weird little game. It's all about old, senile men that absolutely need meat to surviv3e for some reason. The humor didn't quite land with me... None of the jokes really reminded me of old people. (I've not seen any old person saying "leel" or "EZ") So I'm not sure what that's all supposed to be. Overall though, the game has it's charm and I felt the passion of the developer in the small little details that were sprinkled throughout the game. The gameplay consists mostly of dialogue and minigames/puzzles. Both of which seemed fairly easy, which is what I like. In terms of the price... 5 Bucks ain't too bad, but considering that we have mostly default ressources here with some edits/custom music, I'd probably only grab it on a 50% sale. That being said, 50% of the game's profit is being donated to charity, and you can do a lot worse with 5 bucks.

I loved the humor of this game and the hilarious situations. It is an adventure game with very well solved puzzles. It's one of those games that at the beginning you say "I don't understand anything that's going on, but there's something there, something big". If you are looking for something out of the usual, I recommend this game!

The premise is absurd and I love that! Has some interesting cinematic presentation and a lot of humour.

Initially, I started playing for the absurd, surreal humour and premise. I expected a traditional, albeit weird and nonsensical, RPG Maker adventure game, but I was surprised by how much more it is than that. On the surface, it's a crazy adventure game with well-paced humour and quirky writing, but underneath, it does venture into more serious, deep even, topics. And even if it was made with RPG Maker, it manages to introduce gameplay variation in the form of various minigames and puzzles, which are quite fun and sometimes quite challenging. All in all, I'd say this game is anything but traditional and worth every centime.

Stupid dumb grandpa bird pisses me off. At first i thought this would be a smart game about politics and capitalism which I HATE, thats why I bought this game. The eggs in the game are not always real and very expensive, It made me drink a lot of drinks because of the clock rule. Also I would recommend playing in German since they won the game against Scotland with 5-1! Love you and goodbye
