"Overstays its welcome" as other have said. There is about two levels of fun before the game starts repeating itself. 2e is fine for this small game
Turmoil est un jeu de gestion simple à prendre en main, mais incroyablement addictif. Derrière son style graphique sympathique se cache un jeu de stratégie et de gestion particulièrement réussi. L'objectif est facile à comprendre, mais optimiser chaque extraction de pétrole, améliorer son équipement et vendre au meilleur moment devient rapidement très prenant. La boucle de gameplay est excellente. On enchaîne les concessions, on investit dans de nouvelles améliorations et on cherche constamment à battre ses précédents résultats. Chaque partie donne envie d'en lancer une nouvelle pour faire encore mieux. J'ai également beaucoup apprécié la direction artistique. Les graphismes sont colorés, le jeu est agréable à regarder et son ambiance légère le rend très accessible. La bande-son accompagne parfaitement l'ensemble et contribue à rendre les sessions très relaxantes. Au fil de la progression, les nouvelles technologies, les améliorations et les différents défis renouvellent régulièrement l'expérience. On ne se contente pas d'extraire du pétrole : il faut aussi gérer son argent intelligemment, anticiper le marché et faire les bons choix au bon moment. S'il fallait lui trouver un petit défaut, je dirais qu'une plus grande variété d'événements ou de cartes aurait apporté encore davantage de rejouabilité sur le très long terme. Malgré cela, le plaisir de jeu reste intact et il est très facile d'y revenir régulièrement. Au final, Turmoil est une excellente surprise. Facile à apprendre, difficile à lâcher et toujours agréable à relancer, c'est un jeu qui réussit parfaitement à mélanger gestion, stratégie et détente. Un excellent petit jeu indépendant que je recommande à tous les amateurs de jeux de gestion.
