This is one of the few games that made me go: Wow, this is one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice game right here, might not be perfect but it sure is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good.
This is sick. Maybe an overreaction, but this might be my favorite indie game. The movement has to be most fun in any game I've ever played, let alone FPS. It's non stop, high octane gameplay. I do believe a lot of the levels are longer than they need to be, all throughout the game, but specially in the last chapter.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

As a Doom dih rider, I find the gameplay nearly as fun as Doom 2016 or even Doom Eternal.
- Gameplay is way too fast, like you collected a permanent speed boost. - A lot of the time, the colours are way too in your face & unpleasant to look at. - Story is so bad, it feels like it was an afterthought by the devs. - Way too many weapon upgrade / mods. It feels bloated. - Some bugs still, such as when it rains, it will stutter with the water partical effects running down your face. - Quite repetitive gameplay after a short time. - Disappointing to see the use of A.I. content in the game. - Soundtrack is all over the place in this game. There's no consistency to help this game have an identity and feel unique. A lot of the time, it's repetitive and annoying to listen to. I ended up muting the music. It is fun in small doses, but there's no incentive to play this game again. If you want to give this game a try, get it when it's on sale.
Wow. Slept on this one for too long. Fun old school shooter. Fast paced, run and gun action. Beautiful, colorful atmosphere with an excellent soundtrack and ambience. All the weapons are useful and feel and sound weighty with useful alternate fire and upgrades. A variety of violence as you carry all of your weapons and situationally swap at will, in most situations, contradictory to strict limits in duller shooters like COD and Halo. Overall a great game with only some minor gripes. There is some platforming, which I detest in 1st Person shooters, but so far they seem fairly generous without requiring pixel perfect precision. Combat is a joy, though sometimes damage is mysterious and you either do not see an attack coming or are at full health and armor and take a hit that suddenly or nearly kills you. The gameplay is fun enough that when these situations arise, you eagerly reload and ready yourself to unleash hell again. Strongest recommend. 💪
турбо оверкал
There's a lot to like with Turbo Overkill, it knows what it is and wears it on its chest. A cheesy, over the top, movement/boomer shooter with influences and pop-culture references all over the place. The chainsaw leg is very creative and fun, and combine that with the fast movement and all the upgrades, it really incentivises fast and chaotic playstyle which DOOM 2016 brought back into the limelight. A problem with this game however is that I felt a lot of the weapons became useless quite quickly. The super shotgun is offensively bad as I never wanted to use it, and the rocket launcher also felt surprisingly weak. The only guns I thought were actually effective were the minigun and assault rifle. The game also loves throwing the shield shotgunners at you towards the end, and out of all the enemies, they were the ones I hated because you have to go to the basic shotgun and use the electric charge, and it isn't fun to do so because I'm not going to keep using it afterwards because that gun became useless after level 4. Turbo Overkill also looks great, absolutely gorgeous game with the retro aesthetic, however I did notice that some of the bullet damage in the environment faded incredibly quickly along with the corpses too, so you don't really get to see the carnage that you've caused afterwards. However I did notice some frame drops, especially in the final level and I'm not sure what caused it, standing in a specific doorway dropped me right down to 35fps and I couldn't work it out. There also seems to be an odd issue with what I think is the anisotropic filtering as textures seem to have a very sharp fade for detail and it's very close up. There are also lots of times where visually it's very overwhelming, so much ♥♥♥♥ is going on and you really just have to push through it. As some reviews have said (and that I agree on) this game goes on for too long, some levels do go on for quite a while and I feel like the game could be tightened up overall in length. I do think Turbo Overkill outstays it's welcome which is a shame because it is very fun for the most part.
