Good concept that could easily have been a massive casual hit, but I don't think it would be possible for the execution to be more of a complete flop.

Fun game to play

This old game is a real shame. A match-3 where you can load your own music and matching to the beat gets you bonus points is such an easy win of a game that is unfortunately let down by its beat detection being absolutely [i]horrible[/i]. I don't say that lightly, I don't like slandering old games like this and I genuinely only review games I want people to try (hence the recommendation) but it is really bad. If you can stomach it, this is a weirdly one-of-a-kind game on steam. The modes and powerups are fun and it is pretty challenging, and not just because it's hard to play to the rhythm when even the game doesn't know what it is. It's worth a shot.

Review: No resolution options. Game does not fullscreen. Tiles are very cheap. The music supplied with the game is garbage. The relationship between the board and the music seemed dubious and confused me more than anything else. Selecting a row of color was slow and clunky with having to drag and drop the right click, meanwhile the board gets rid of rows making the whole thing really clumsy.

Didn't really like this. I didn't fully figure out how to play, and it wasn't interesting enough to make me want to launch it a second time to find out.

I really didn't get the rhythm in this game, maybe I didn't use the right songs... but it's awesome if you like to watch some colors after playing some grey/brown FPS.

Turba looks like it was made by a game design student as their final assignment for school, and it plays like one too! Just horrible.

Much like Audiosurf and Beat Hazard, you play with your music, this time with...PUZZLES! It's a nice time killer and it's got achievements. The game could look better though. Buy it when it's on sale, you won't regret it

At the core this sounds like a good idea, but even based on the provide tracks the levels are woefully short and don't produce an experience all that compelling across multiple game modes. The ability to generate levels based on audio tracks to produce infinite levels falls short if none of them are interesting to play.

I'm a big fan of both tile games and music games... and I love when my favorite genres come together. This one really misses the mark though. Its not very well put together. The actions you take don't seem to really even be affected by the music, and the fun factor is quite meh. Wish I could recommend, but just can't.
