As the game is no longer updated and there is no way to stop disasters in later game I can't recommend it. The most frustrating part of the game is if you already build your colony with more than 100 people, get your independence and than comes a tornado that destroys 80% of your base. Or if you start building the dome and meteors destroy it and you can't remove the structure. It was fun in the beginning, but after hours of playing loosing everything is a deal breaker for me.
So sad that this game was dumped.
This game has a TONS of flaws, and I mean a ridiculous amount of them, but I like it. It forces you to manage your economy and supplies well, because if you don't, you're boned and need to completely start over. Is it fun? Yeah, it's hilarious, I love it. Is it good? Nope. I'd say it's incomplete, and it seems like it will stay that way since the developer said they lost the source code. Do I recommend it? Sure, if you're nuts, have a sense of humor, and ~$4 to burn. Otherwise, absolutely not. Pro Tip: Your rovers/drills can clip through terrain via spam clicking to get more resources. You can thank me later.
Pretty interesting game, sorta like Planetbase but a little less of a hassle to have fun
Worth the 3$ I payed for it.
Overall it seems to be an okay game but you get too much ... a blight has destroyed out food, water contamaneted, a colonist has died, a blight... a blight ... a colonist has died, a blight, solar activity, not enough ... all within minuites. A bit of tweaking from the devs is still needed on this game, but overall fun for a few hours
I cannot recommend this game, my person died during the tutorial! Really!?! I can't even get time to lean the controls without my person who died from hunger one time and I think lack of sleep the second time. The controls are not great or the tutorial does a terrible job at explaining the controls. Whatever, I thought playing this would be a little like Planet Base, Surviving Mars, etc, I own and love them both but this game is nothing like those which are way easier to play with great tutorials.
Jogo bastante interessante para quem gosta de estratégia, planejamento e curti astronomia e física...
This game had so much potential. Totally worth the price as is though. I really enjoyed playing it.
It's an OK game with clunky controls and needless micro management. There are other better Mars colonization games in Steam, so get them instead. The only reason you would get this is if you're tight in budget.
