Dude. Yes. I've owned this game for 13 years. So many times a new album comes out I make sure to set time aside and surf it for my first proper listen. I've surfed a lot of great ones. This game's been with me through thick and thin. Dude. *leans in and whispers* alright dude. if ya wanna skip all the sifting through mods and skins to find your favorite combo, trust me on this: mono with the glowing spectrum skin by MozzieFox updated by TerraSancta. No disrespect to the modding community (I'm technically part of it), there's lots of great skins, but that skin is always the one I come back to. Take this advice and you will not be disappointed by this video game. Haha alright dude what are you even waiting for. Surf your music. Let your brain fully experience the joy of listening as a fuller sensory experience. Hit the pen and ride them waves dawg. Bro you see those scores? Don't worry about the scores man. By opening your heart to the waves, you have already won. Ten out of freakin TEN bro.
Wow this game is bad compared to the first Audiosurf. Audiosurf 2 is more shiny and sparkly, which both distracts from the music (why are you playing the game, btw?) and makes the game a lot harder to read and thus play. The UI was completely replaced. The UI is just as bad as the old game. Audiosurf 1 looked like early 2000's touch screen buttons that were just painted over the surface. Audiosurf 2 instead uses random button placements where every rectangle is clickable. Though the buttons don't do what you'd expect. Clicking on the huge song cover doesn't let me chose the song, it starts playing it in the menu. Starting the level? Oh that's the teeny tiny play button hugging the screen bottom that's not even visually connected to anything regarding song selection or play mode selection. The algorithm is different from Audiosurf 1. Definitely not better. Audiosurf 1 gave you a path to follow and occasionally challenged you. Audiosurf 2 just gives you a wall of bad blocks on all three lanes at the same time that you cannot avoid. I got it at -75% off and i'm going to return it.

It's fun as hell to go at crazy speeds while the beat of the song you chose from your PC drops! I still prefer the vibes of the original AudioSurf, but this one is good too. To be honest, it's basically more of the same, just looks a little different.
Hideously cheap and ugly UI put me off caring about this game. I played one level, the song was great but the gameplay just felt empty. It was like playing a tech demo with no real feedback. I've played many better rhythm games.
I am not good at this
Audiosurf released in 2008. Audiosurf 2 released in 2015. Audiosurf was pretty good. Audiosurf 2 is the exact same thing but more expensive and somehow uglier. Buy Audiosurf instead.
This game is old, but awesome. Go and get it when it's for a couple of bucks. Call it a poor man's Beat Saber, in case you don't have VR.
I have quite a bit of fun with this. It’s great you can import your own songs into it, not not a little confusing as to why some people have a higher score than you even you you feel you’ve done it perfectly.
