Reviews
The easiest way to describe this game is that it is like 2D Legend of Zelda mixed with Dark Souls. If you enjoy both of those style games then you will probably enjoy Tunic. Besides that though, the game does a wonderful job of creating its own identity. You are dropped into the world with no idea what to do. Throughout the world you will find the pages of an instruction manual that will give you clues and guide you on your journey. I won't lie, There have been times I have had to look up where to go next but for the most part the instruction manual has had the answers, even if sometimes I have to keep looking at the pages until the clues click. As you explore the world you will discover magical weapons and items to help you navigate the world and find the weaknesses of the bosses you encounter. There are lots of dungeons to explore and backtracking is important as well as you get new tools to help you explore. The game does have negatives, mainly to do with the movement itself. It can be frustrating at times and the lock on can be frustrating as it seems to love targeting everything but what I want it too. All in all, I would recommend it in a heartbeat. I have really enjoyed it so far.

Overrated Why have combat, if you aren't going to polish it
This is the closest you'll ever get to experiencing that Zelda NES magic of discovery again. Avoid spoilers at all costs, this is a special one you should just play. On sale or full price, absolutely worth every cent.
This is one of my all time favorite games. the cute graphics the clean and easy to learn combat system made me immediately fall in love with it. even after beating the game there is more to do, the amount of secrets the game has is insane. i cant recommend this game to you enough. 9.5/10!
Tunic is like a cute zelda clone that's also a puzzle game. No tutorial maybe a bit difficult for some but it's part of the game and you don't even get a readable language, just a ingame manual written in a language that you don't understand. Combat is a bit chunky, sometimes a little sluggish, but never the main event. Great art style and great soundtrack. If you wanna try the game go in blind and only lookup a playtrought If you get really stuck.
The Witness
It's very much like old school Legend of Zelda - you run around a map fighting enemies and slowly build up your stockpile of weapons and knowledge to fight the bigger enemies throughout. It was a fun game and I would recommend it to anyone who likes those shorter style rts games without having to spend forever doing so.
Charming, challenging, exteremely well designed with great music, great art, and a feeling of discovery I haven't felt since I was a child.
Meh... whatever
