Played well on the steam deck, some minor hiccups when scenes panned, but otherwise no issues. Music was wonderful. Took what felt like the evolution of chip tune. Art style was great! Very easy to look at with simplistic design with interesting locations. The fighting was okay: very reminiscent of Super Nintendo Zelda games, which this game feels like a great homage to. Played without guides up to the 2 least attained achievements (which required a second run and I really hate that in games….but there were accessibility options that make you invincible….so although I really enjoyed playing through the first run and getting the good ending….i could have saved a couple of hours (even though I enjoyed myself) one of those back and forths… The puzzles felt good, but a bit too repetitive. I would recommend this to some but not all. If you enjoyed Zelda games before they went 3D….get it!
The game is actually a gem if you ignore the atrocity of a "final" boss it has. It does not belong into this game and ruins the overall experience. I am not against hard bosses, but at least they should be fun to fight. This game's final boss has way too much HP, spamming homing attacks and is way too hard compared to the rest of the game which is quite easy. I had more fun fighting Elden Ring's pre-nerf Radahn 100+ times than fighting this game's final boss 10 times.

love this little guy. the "Fox." this game has made me take more physical pen and paper notes than any other, and i think that's really special. stick to it for a while.
Great game!
fun for all skill levels, simple but rewarding combat, just enough guidance to move you forward if stuck for too long
