About
Radioactive anomalies. Rabid mutants. Cursed treasures. You step into the Zone with a pistol, a flashlight, and a roll of bandages. Hunt and scavenge, or get lost to the Zone.
Choose from an arsenal of Soviet-era firearms and melee weapons. Go in guns blazing, set ambushes, sneak through shadows, distract enemies. The Zone rewards cunning as much as courage.

Manage food, medicine, radiation, infection, and your trusty backpack. Use careful planning, stealth, or brute force—your approach matters.

Harvest herbs, hunt animals, gather mutants’ body parts. Brew serums, cook food, upgrade weapons, repair gears. The Zone is perilous — but also full of riches for the cunning.

Ravaged villages, toxic swamps, abandoned Soviet bunkers—each environment holds clues, journals, side-quests, and mysteries born of the 1908 Tunguska Event. Uncover the hidden stories at your own pace.

Inspired by the novel Roadside Picnic, Tunguska is one man's vision and creation of a new post-Visitation zone: a place not just full of horror and danger, but also the freedom and opportunities sought after by many near the fall of the USSR.

前期跑图太折磨了
Beware: + Good atmosphere; + Player agency; + Well balanced gameplay; + Interesting story. - Moral choices lack impact; - Reputation system lacks weight in gameplay.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Lite Edition In short: recommended, but wait for a sale for < $10,00. The foundation of the game is great, but some aspects of the game range from shallow to ambitious. Considering this game was developed by one person, it's impressive, but flawed. It's got potential for a second playthrough, but NG+ is locked behind DLC. I'm keeping an eye on the second game and will likely buy it too. Performance: Steady 45-60FPS on my potato on max settings. Exploration: The game as a whole is fun to explore, but each individual map is very small. There isn't much to find off the beaten path because the levels are too small to allow for it. Crafting: My initial introduction to the crafting system reminded of me the first Witcher game. My hope of experimentation being emphasized was short lived due to recipes being easily found or bought. Unfortunately, everything is a recipe and there are no scraps of experimental information to be gleaned from idle campfire chatter. I got a hint at the depth the creator wanted to implement when I was asked to use a simple electrical formula, but it wouldn't be conducive to the mass-market. Ammo crafting is good but needs reagents balancing. I had an abundance of everything except casings for my favored calibers, uses for reagents are also quite limited. I bought and find what I needed while padding my loadout through crafting. Serum / medical crafting is also great but only a few were worth the effort. The over abundance of mutant parts and herbs became a nuisance and diminished any perceived value in serums or RX grade meds. Spam for immortality. Stealth: A few portions of the game really shine for stealth gameplay, but don't expect much. Human enemies act utterly blind in the game and it's kind of like Warcraft stealth; you can be sitting in plain view of humans while crouched and probably won't be seen, less-so in the bushes. There doesn't seem to be a way to drag bodies away, but letting another patrol find it makes strangling them easy. Gun selection: limited. Doubly limited when range is taken into account. You will find your favorites and keep them well fed. Character development and story: You meet them, do a few jobs, and move on. Several characters have backstories and reasons for being in the zone, but most felt like their stories were cut short. I thought the main quest was merely a side / progression quest until 3/4ths of the way through the game. It's a good story, but don't expect The Wheel of Time / Dune. There didn't seem to be any significant consequences for my moral actions in game world, but there are several alternate endings based on a few key choices. Much of this can be overlooked if some characters continue into the second game to be further developed. Atmosphere and soundscape: Weather effects and distant battles are excellent. The audio and sound design is very readable. The anomalies are designed well, but they are used like decorative traffic cones with no real purpose. Puzzles: Usually this involves getting fuel, plugging something in / find the part, and throwing a switch. Everything is usually found within the loaded map. They are relatively fun and help break up the gameplay, but could be more varied and less predictable. My gripes: Reagent containers aren't available until late game when they are no longer needed. The skill tree doesn't have much of an effect on your character / build. Most choices felt insignificant. My loves: Exploring each map, managing my loadout, and probing the game to see if there are alternative choices in quests
