I like the graphics, and its like a real 3rd world island country, but I do not like how it freezes up and your stuck and cannot get out of the game. I also, dislike how you cannot alter the landscape to your liking; such as leveling mountains and how you take people out of prison.

Tropico 4 is probably my favorite Tropico game for pure fun. Tropico 5 is more modern and adds some interesting things, but there is something about Tropico 4 that just feels simpler and more enjoyable. You can immediately get into it without having to worry about a million different systems, and before you know it, you've spent hours turning a tiny island into a ridiculous dictatorship. Being El Presidente is still the best part. You can actually try to run a decent country, keep everyone happy and build a functioning economy, or you can become the most corrupt dictator imaginable. Steal money, manipulate elections, favor certain factions, imprison people you don't like... the game gives you plenty of opportunities to be a terrible leader. The economy is also really satisfying. Starting with a few farms and basic industries and slowly moving toward more advanced production and exports gives you that nice feeling of progression without becoming overly complicated. And honestly, the humor carries the game so well. The announcer, the characters, the ridiculous situations and the way the game makes fun of dictatorships make even the management side entertaining. The campaign is also something I really enjoyed. The missions have more personality than simply being given an empty island and being told to build a city, and they constantly give you different objectives to work around.

Muy recomendado. La Evolución Natural del Tropico3 conservando sus míticas y reconocidas canciones de la banda sonora y sus jocosas letras. En ocasiones entro a jugar sólo por la música... XD Un juego con un gran contenido de humor así como de crítica política a "ambos bandos" tanto en la propia campaña como en las mecánicas de juego. Más allá de la música y de la crítica... como juego de gestión está increíble. Muy divertido y entretenido, repleto de retos especialmente en la Campaña. Es una lástima que los servidores con los rankings de puntuación ya no funcionen, pero es algo absolutamente opcional. Si te gustan los Citybuilders y los juegos de gestión Tropico4 es un imprescindible junto a su hermano pequeño Tropico3. El DLC "Modern Times" no es imprescindible y no a todos los fans del Tropico3 les gusta. Sin embargo a mi me encanta. Incluye una campaña completa y va a hacer que el modo de partida libre gane una nueva perspectiva y mucha rejugabilidad con muchos edificios nuevos. Pero es verdad que si juegas ModernTimes y no has aprendido a gestionar los recursos sin todas esas ventajas es posible que no consiguas construir auténticos paraísos en tus islas.
