Tropico 4

Ach ja Tropico 4 eines meiner liebsten "Aufbau Wirtschaftssimulationen" Es macht Spaß Geld zu verdienen und die Dummheiten von Penultimo auszubügeln. Die Zusammenhängende Geschichte der Kampagne gefällt mir sehr gut. Der Humor ist in Ordnung, die Musik macht Laune, alles in allem ein solides Komplettpaket. Eigentlich mindestens genauso gut wie Tropico 6 und vieleicht besser als Tropico 5. Spaßiger als Tropico 1 2 und 3.

Good little strategy game

This was my first Tropico game, got it around before 5's release. This game is of the city-builder genre. You're at the helm of a fictional banana republic in the midst of the Cold War, where you must gear the island's people and resources to meet your goals. And you can do so with freedom or with force. You construct buildings to build your island up from humble agricultural beginnings to your dream iron-fist surveillance state or tourist hotspot, and everything in between. The game is loaded with all kinds of fun humor, including political tongue-in-cheek stuff as well as the comical. The characters are all memorable and funny in their ways, especially two of them that serve as your hosts on the radio station. The music is absolutely awesome, catchy, and matching for the Latin-American Caribbean setting (Salsa, Merengue, something like that). The game has enough depth and tools to keep you finding ways to make your work more and more efficient, and enough buildings to try out and model your perfect little empire. If you get any of the Tropico games, this is said to the be the best of the 6 (as of this writing), so I would absolutely recommend getting this one first. I principally like to play Sandbox, but I gave the missions a try and enjoyed playing those just as much. It's a very well-built, polished, and enjoyable game, definitely worth picking up... Especially if a sale hits and you can scoop all the DLC for maximum play.
