Are you looking for an old city builder that IsThereAnyDeal can find you a copy of for $6? Do you want it to be able to run on older hardware because RAM costs a grand? You've come to the right place. I have played all the Tropico's and this one is my favorite (followed by 6). Easy to get into, but offers more granular controls than the others, allowing you to make your island exactly what you want. There's even instructions online on how to edit your hosts file to skip the annoying Kalypso sales screen that shows up before every Tropico game. Highly replayable, good number of missions as well as endless mode. 5/5 do recommend.
Personally, I think this is the best game in the series. It manages to be easy to get into, and catches the Tropico vibe perfectly without being too goofy (looking at Tropico 6, and the ability to steal landmarks.) It genuinely feels like you are running a backwater banana republic, as it should. I still find myself coming back to play it again and again.
I’ve played Tropico 4 for many hours and it still hits. Being El Presidente and shaping an island—from building roads and schools to dealing with riots and foreign powers—gives this sweet balance between chill city building and political chaos. The humor, soundtrack, and art style all work together to create a game that’s relaxing but never boring. Perfect if you enjoy management sims with personality.

Un juego muy interesante para la estrategia en gestión de ciudades! es un juego sencillo, fácil de aprender y con un encanto tropical, esta lleno de misiones y objetivos disparatados que le hacen muy entretenido. También hay catástrofes naturales que pueden ser bastante destructivas. Es un juego muy recomendado!
