Trophy Chaser

On one hand, it's more fiddly than it should be to dash diagonally. On the other hand, there's a crouch animation that's never actually used but it's there anyway just for fun. So yeah, it's not bad.

For completionists that want a short fun game this game is a great and the platforming isn't horrible. The achievements are the trophies in the game. The game starts pretty simple and gets more difficult. I reccomend having 2 hands on the keyboard so you can use the other one to press the shift key. Controller support... isn't really supported but you could hook some 3rd party software pretty easy like JOYtoKey if you needed. (Disclaimer You can't beat this game with just a controller)

So there are 3 levels I didn't like in particular. 2 of them just because its just a bad mechanic in platformers (the auto side scroller aka when the giant enemies chase you) and the last level. Don't get me wrong the game is pretty fun other than the last level in particular. the other 2 levels I don't like aren't even really bad its just the last level is a little long for the game and one part a little half midway into the level [spoiler] dash to a bat into a dash onto the ground [/spoiler] where if unlike the rest of the levels you don't do precisely you will die. [spoiler] you either miss the second dash and fall into the pit or you can dash directly into a spike wall if you don't either stop moving for a bit or slightly move left then right again to narrowly avoid hitting the spike wall [/spoiler] I also thought this game was shorter than it was originally because it has letters as achievements which makes you think "oh 26 levels cool" but then you get z and get to another level. Also there are 2 parts of this game that just wasn't needed but is nice. Wall jumping (literally never needed) and ducking. The wall jumping is nice but you can cheat a bit with it and the ducking is just kind of cute. TLDR: Good game, 2 levels have an annoying mechanic but not terrible, last level is long and has a part thats a little to precise for this game in particular. All in all recommend especially on discount :D

Short and sweet platforming game. Could be longer and more challenging, but it's not too bad as it is.

It is indeed a game that you get for the price you pay for it.

1 dollar for 1 hour of gameplay, completing the game. I liked the art style and the platforming was... platformy. I would have paid 10 dollars for it if it was 10x longer. Seems like a fair ratio. I thought it was worth it.
