Difficult and time-consuming puzzle game without a hint/help function. The goal of the game is to find all sets of three adjacent symbols whose characteristics either match or differ. The price-performance ratio of this game is very good.
Hours of match-making, this game has a great value. Find 3 symbols in a row which each have 3 similarities, 2, 1, or none. I played a card game similar to this many years ago. It could use a bit of polish (and maybe a few more classical songs). "Random" mode allows one to play this game until they are completely sick of it. There are 6 "packs" available for some pre-made boards, which seems silly due to the "random" option being available. Can too much of a good thing be bad? Yes. Yes it can. If you play this game and have a low threshold for boredom, you will be howling in sheer despair at the repetitiveness of the puzzles. Hey, I'll admit I knew going in there wouldn't be much of a story... or *a* story, and that there would be one kind of puzzle only. But did there have to be... so.many.of.them?! And that the same classical piano would be playing non-stop?
I like classical btw, Baroque mostly, with some occasional forays into Medieval.
I know, I know- cry me a river, so I am 'cuz this is my party / review and I'll cry if I want to. Ok, now I'm gonna go play 10 more minutes of this for the achievements' sake. Ten minutes at a time is all I can handle without chewing my hands off. oh... yeah... I do recommend this game 'cuz easy cheevs (I'm so ashamed.)
Je joue sur Linux. Version Linux : excellente.
Now that I've played over an hour of this game without getting bored, I feel comfortable giving it a positive review. It's a very simple puzzle game of pattern recognition. It can be surprisingly tricky to find the patterns at times, even though the game tells you what sort of pattern to look for. Within the tiles on the board are combinations of three colors, three shapes, and three levels of shading. You're looking for a horizontal or vertical row of three tiles that all have one similarity, two similarities, all three similarities, or no similarities at all. I feel like people who enjoy more "visual" puzzles such as spot the difference or hidden object games would be more likely to enjoy this game. I personally find it quite soothing, and at the price, it's a steal for those who like simple, casual games with a good amount of content.
A well-crafted minimalist logic match-3 like puzzle game that allowed me to take my mind off things and keep my brain busy for a few hours when I needed it badly. Thanks.
This is a good puzzle game. It's a good warm-up game for when you just boot up the computer and for when you're ready to call it a night. Because you can play a single puzzle level -- which takes maybe a minute or two-- or you can play as many levels as you like. The rules are simple: it's a match-3 game where you're looking for 3-of-a-kind (such as 3 green solid circles) all the way to a trio that has nothing in common: a solid red square, striped green triangle and empty blue circle. The matches are ranked by how many things in common: Very Easy has 3 things in common, Easy has 2 things in common, Medium has 1 thing in common and Hard has nothing in common. This means finding medium matches are the hardest. As your eyes will instinctively pick out 3 blue squares, and after a few levels you're quickly looking for any red-green-blue trio to see if they have nothing in common, but hunting for a red, blue and green square or a shaded circle, square, triangle becomes a pain. Pluses: It saves where you are at. Every level is doable. You can earn all achievements in about 10 to 12 hours. The author responds quickly to discussion threads. It's only a buck; often less when on sale. It's well worth more. Minuses: The music is very eclectic. Some soundtracks make you want to see if there's an OST; others make you wonder if you should take off your headphones.
