It is fun
It wasn't the type of merging game I expected; it involves more strategy, especially if want the higher scores. That said, it's a fun way to kill the time - and the bears are super cute.
This is, for me, one of the best match 3 games I've played. It's adorable, it's simple and clean, it's engaging. I come back to it when I need to occupy my mind without taxing myself. I had it on my phone and bought it here.
Great game to play when you want to relax.
Yes
Game will just delete your save file on game crash. Do not buy unless you want to lose all your time.

REVIEW #68 Triple Town ---------- Triple Town is your typical match-3, turn-based casual game with a cutesy style, but there's a very good amount of the depth in the game play. The goal is to have the highest value for your town that you can possibly achieve, and your town's value is increased every time that you place an object in the town grid. Placing 3+ similar objects together causes them to morph into one higher-valued item. Your opponents here are bears, who will occasionally appear as an item that you need to place in order to continue play. After each turn, all bears in place have a chance to switch to an adjacent spot. Any bear completely blocked after you place an item turns into a tombstone, which is another object that can be used for creating matches. For me, the big draw to this game is the chaotic factor how creating a strategy for future turns is helpful but also susceptible to being completely undone on your next turn, depending on what item you are given to place and where the bears decide to go (or not go), causing you to completely rethink your next move. Games typically only last a handful of minutes, but the fun nature of the game makes it a title that I will commonly play at least 2 rounds of in one sitting. Plus, the game will save your progress at any point, and each of the several offered game variations will create and save its own individual game, even if you have other saved games existing in any other mode(s). Complaints that I have about the game including the implementation of an overworld hub between rounds, which I found to be little fun and actually a little aggravating. Also, while it saves high scores for each game mode to the Steam cloud, there is no online leaderboard. However, it's also worth mentioning that the game has also been highly stable for me and never gave me any technical issues or crashes.
