«5 Star Miami Resort»
If you don’t mind timing elements even in the ‘no turn limit’ mode, then this strategic turn limit, 96 levels M3 is sure to please. Detailed - Big boxes. Which is great not just for those with poorer eyesight but much easier to see to plan your moves. This doesn’t mean that the level is easier due to a multi-screen approach. There are ‘islands’ which you unlock by either clearing your present board or clearing a certain box, then you can go between all of them to accomplish your level objectives. - Islands. There can be different goals in each island, one may have blocks or obstacles, and another has people. This is good, as different objectives in each part makes a level more complex and interesting. - Objectives. Much clearer, as in your info box on left hand of screen it tells you how many people and tiles you have to clear before you can finish a level. It also says how many moves there are left. - Turns. You can actually gain moves as when you ‘finish’ your people goal they actually give you more moves. Also, through the building of the resort you can gain a move per level. - Resort. Build your resort through the money that you get from finishing levels. Here the buildings actually do something useful, from extra turns, to quicker power-ups. The resort is finished about ¾ through the game and then there is no more story. - Hardness. You can get all achievements even on relaxed mode which is the ‘no turn limit’ mode. Casual and Normal are turn-based modes. You can switch hardness within a level. - Game mechanics. New torch mode. Make a path between torches, then tiles turn dead and you have to get rid of them. - Timing. There are two different kinds of timing tiles in some levels. If you don’t match them, they keep growing to cover other tiles. These are time based, not turn based, and you do have to move quite quickly to get rid of them. - Powerups. There are two different main kinds. One where you can make different types of powerups on the board. Another which has 3 boxes on the side of the board. If you match the tile appearing on its box, you can charge and use them. - People. Powerups will fizzle until you get rid of people with “U” above them first. GENERAL INFO -Doesn’t save midlevel. -Slider for sounds -You can’t take screenshots -Still can’t swap any powerups -Typos in achievements and tutorial level -Under the trophies claim your ‘money’ to build your resort. Personal view. I never had to grind any levels as any level I had to do more than twice had the timing tiles in it. Later in the game I ended up just changing modes for that level if I saw the timing tiles as I didn’t like them. That way, I never had to redo a level. Casual mode seemed quite easy, easier than Last Resort Island on the non-timing, strategic levels. But I found the levels with timing tiles harder than Last Resort Island. I really missed the extra different type of puzzles that Last Resort Island had. As those were over and above the M3 levels I felt something was taken away here. Overall, I had fun, apart from the timing tiles. I appreciated the different strategies I had to take, and the new torch mechanics kept it fresh. A fun match 3 by Rokapublish - the makers of Zombie Solitaire and other games.

More strategy involved here than in normal M3s.
You can play in regular mode (move limited) or relaxed mode.
As far as I can tell you can earn all achievements in either mode.
You earn power ups by building buildings at your resort.
98 levels of fun!
Tongue in cheek humor throughout and addictive game play.
A got this game free because I had trouble with a different RokaPublish game. No trouble with this one though!
I'm a pretty simple person; there are times when I just want a pretty match-3 game and I don't need much story. I usually like this developer's games, but this one didn't click with me, mostly because of the interface. The pieces don't move right; they're slow and they drag like the game is lagging, which it obviously doesn't have the hardware requirements to do. For a mindless diversion, it's got to have that feel, you know? I'm playing Last Resort now, which is from the same developer and basically the same game except zombies, and it's fine.
same as rio and hawaii before, the most generic match-3 experience, but pretty much the only thing rokaplay is somewhat (and sometimes) competent at. still has annoyances (tiles spreading in real-time, cascades not making power-ups that still can't be moved, etc.) but all 96 levels are matching here, no arcade crap this time. it takes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ forever for a bomb to appear when there are no moves left though. it's also a lot more simplified (as in, basic): no specific guest requests, the easiest difficulty without move limit is automatic 3 stars instead of 1, no optional solitaire mini-game, no music, etc.). if you liked the ones before, why not (on deep sale), otherwise there are better options even in this series.
Another solid effort. Fun match 3 game. Not timed, rather you are restricted by number of moves. Cute artwork, funny dialogue.
