Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty fun Especially wirh dual-wield
Who's my favorite little psychopath?
Rather short, but interesting missions. If you like Bulletstorm / Shadow Warrior / Fear, this is a good choice. Also, very well optimized (except for one mission that somehow dropped my fps during end sequence).
TLDR - Overall I would say it's a good game, but it's only the gameplay that's good. If you're after a coherent story, you'll need to whip out a guide. For me, Trepang2 is a wonderful, linear shooter with very fun levels to run through, even with its (meme?) horror elements that kind of dulled the mood for me in some cases. The shooting, throwing and grabbing all make for a fun time in the 10ish hours you'll get out of this game. But the story is an absolute mess and was very obviously not prioritized. Almost all the information and backstory is only found in hidden intel pieces littered around the maps that you have to go out of your way to find, which takes away from the very chaotic fast-paced shooter that the game is designed to be. The story goes mission to mission, but doesn't actually explain anything or why you do literally anything other than "Company bad, do what you're told". The characters don't mention anything other than "I'm doing my part" and then we just move onto the next bad guy. Avoid reading this part if you don't want spoilers -
The literal head CEO that you've spent the game hunting down, in his dying moments, decides to complain that you're ruining everything, rather than explain to the player that he's just like us. That he created horizon to fight back against the syndicate and that the player is just a pawn.
Not to mention, what annoyed me most now that i've finished it, was the fact that the game has a (proper?) secret ending, which can only be obtained by doing a damn hidden drone collectathon throughout the game. I managed to find six out of seven, pretty much meaning that most players won't even get the proper ending unless they go out of their way to find them. So i would have broken the cycle, had i known i'd have to look for them. But i would like to see another game, hopefully it actually makes an effort to flesh out the story and explain what's going on. 7/10.
for almost a week straight, I have played Trepang2 daily, and oh boy has it been a blast for someone who likes shooter games but also has some problem of not being able to play these types of games for what pc I currently have on use. still, even with the fact I have bit old specs and low amount of space for use, Trepang2 has been running perfectly on my pc, even on high graphics which I play on. there have been few times the game has crashed, but it isnt constant, and I can get right back to the action with simple restart of the game. currently I have gotten pretty much all the normal achievements, now its just the difficulty related ones, very hard, extreme, and rage mode. at the moment I have gotten 3 out of 5 main missions completed on rage mode with also two side mission completed, two of the main missions, jorvik castle and horizon HQ are beaten on extreme, and the rest of the side missions are on hard at the moment. for what the game has to offer, I love it, the guns, the movement, all the things you can do and the enemy can do, its amazing. the 24 hours that have been used to this game has not been for nothing, and I will not stop trying to get everything out of this game until I have all the main and side missions completed on rage mode, maybe next have to go try get all the cosmetics while at it. Trepang2 is absolutely worth it. if you like fast pace fps games, get this game now!
I don't think I've ever posted a review on steam before. That being said, Trepang^2 makes me feel like a damn kid again. Game has its issues, but its a four person dev team, the solid 10/10 combat loop and campaign story make me wish for more. Everyone should buy this game so they make a sequel or prequel. I'd die for at least more HVT's. Great game everyone, thank you team Trepang.
