Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Welcome back F.E.A.R.: First Encounter Assault Recon.
DOOM vs empresa
The game seems really cool at first, but halfway through the first level, it already becomes a miserable experience. There’s no ADS (aiming down sights), which is weird enough, but the real problem is the level design—the maps are bad and confusing. Spotting enemies is a nightmare; you basically have to wait for them to shoot at you just to figure out where they are. The AI is almost non-existent. The mechanic of shooting out lights to use shadows for stealth is completely useless because, on Hard difficulty, enemies spot you ridiculously easily if you aren't using the cloak. As a result, stealth is pointless. You take one silenced shot at a guy's helmet, and all 10 enemies in the same tiny room immediately start blasting you. I pushed through the first two maps and it was painful. The focus mechanic is actually alright. On top of everything else, the game is poorly optimized and runs way heavier than it should for how it looks. TL;DR: Gameplay and performance are pretty bad, and the AI is awful. If you aren't using cloak on Hard, everyone sees you instantly. The only reason I'm not getting a refund is because I screwed up—I bought it on sale to play later and now the refund window is closed. 😑 absolute not worthy.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Did a Falcon Kick on a soldier, immediately grabbed him while he was midair to use as a human shield, went into bullet time to head shot two other foes and then tossed an axe at a guy's leg. This all happened in about 10 seconds. Runs well on my hunk of junk laptop.
The SCP Foundation forced F.E.A.R. and Dying Light to produce offspring (pun intended) and modified it with genes from Crysis. I bought the game without really checking what it was all about, the screenshots drew me in. The story might not be as convoluted as in Dark Souls, but it’s still engaging, and I like how it kicks off. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumpscare at one of the sites made me jupmp, totally didn't see it coming. Combat is incredibly addictive - fast-paced and demanding - while at the highest difficulty levels it makes you want to pull your hair out. Really like it. Best part is the enemies are scared of you. “I’m not locked in here with you, you’re locked in here with me” type situation. It might not be very long, but it’s totally worth buying. Provided you aren't afraid of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yourself with rage. 10/10 - want my hair back.
We NEED F.E.A.R. Remake ASAP: game is good for sure, but it lacks in being whole story, missions feels too separate. It just doesnt fell as a whole storyline. Just fragments of the whole picture - its narratively reasonable, but doesnt hit as hard as would countinious gameplay without heli stuff. Gameplay kicks ass thou
good game i like soundtrack good backrooms
It's great
This is actually the most fun I've had playing a video game in SO long. I'll leave it at that.
In general, the game is very funny and feels great to play, but i am shocked from how bad the final boss feels if you are playing on Extreme or higher, like, literally, the reactor section was ASS. It doest feel like trepang, and loosing one arm is cool naratively, but SUCKS ASS gameplaywise. 8/10 because of ruined ending Bugs: Sometimes, when i die and reload too fast, character either spaws weapons himself, or looses a second-in-hand weapons, which turns certain missions from hard to literal hell because of literally 1-3 lost seconds. If you die on Base 6-3`s first major arena, the guys you are escorting in midsection magically respawn as only one guy, even if i managed to save everyone (Suggestion: Add a savepoint RIGHT as player enters that damn arena, NOT BEFORE) If you use high POV (i had like 107), melee combat becomes ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. I cant understand if i am too far or too close to targets to kill them, if its a normal melee attack, and shot a SHIFTed up leg kick (Suggestion: Increase the range at which melee registers) Suggestions about minor inconveniences: I have no idea why game-hardening cheatcodes STILL register as if i beat the mission on easy, even if RAGE was chosen. I DO NOT think that beating a mission on RAGE with spooky mod+no reloads+worse spread+no aim is EASY. So please, choose which cheats will still make it register like missions were beat on easy, and which will allow certain YT videoessayist autists to showoff like "I BEAT IT OR RAGE WHILE MAKING GAME WORSE" Thanks for an overall awesome game. But seriously, nerf the damn final boss.
