Trash TV is a short snack-like experience. It has a good mixture of puzzles, platforming and combat which is contained in an charming visual style. It feels a bit like one of those games that came from nowhere and nobody played before it returned to nowhere, which is a shame because I'd say it's a good experience and somewhat graceful in it's simple gameyness. It's lacking in frills and pretensions and what you see what you get. In some ways it is almost difficult to talk about because of how pared down the design is. Watching the trailer tells you everything about the game and while it's perhaps lacking in surprises it is a good example of a simple idea well executed. It won't change your life, but most things don't and that doesn't make them any less worth enjoying. Just as how with food sometimes all we want is a PB&J at home - sometimes we want a simple game to kill a few hours. Trash TV delivers a solidly satisfying PB&J.
good
Не выкидывайте телелики пацаны, они еще матерям нужны...
the game play is okay, but the tone and atmosphere is really boring, to the point where i don't care to finish the game

too short
Полтора часа несложных головоломок с приятным аудио-визуальным сопровождением
Trash TV (so very aptly named) is one of literally thousands of 2D retro pixel platformers infesting Steam and bringing the average quality of all video games down a few notches. Gameplay is exceedingly tiresome, overdone, obsolete and quite dead 2D puzzle platforming. Drop obstacles over laser beams, flick switches, jump up and down, etc etc. Yawn. The developers seem to have gone out of their way to produce bad, sloppy visuals for the game. There's no support for anything beyond HD resolution, so even if the game had decent graphics, that's a fail. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's also a terrible CRT filter and the game only displays pillarboxed 4:3. There's no excuse for such bad decision making in game development. Perhaps I'm wrong and this is the Analog 4:3 CRT themed retro pixel platformer the industry has been suffering without for decades. But I don't think I am.

Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Short duration. Puzzle oriented. Can get tedious and repetitive to use crates for boosting yourself or disable laser beams. Limited appeal and fun factor. While the concept and the responsiveness of the controls are decent, the game itself does not innovate much and just throws a combination of easy to solve puzzles and the occasional annoying crate throw, or trick move to unlock progression. Platformer players usually complete this under two hours but I would routinely lose patience on some of the puzzles. The audiovisuals are rather bland and give the player only a limited immersion factor. Archiving in hidden library,
