Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

Game breaking bug about an hour and a half into it. Got my shovel, dug into the X, world gen made too deep of a hole so I was locked into it. Couldn't climb out, couldn't do anything. Before that, I kept telling myself how weird of a game it was. Controls are odd, but you can get used to it. Using items is strange, but you figure it out. I was progressing and having a decent amount of fun. I kept moving forward. But then I got stuck in a hole and at that point I truly reflected on my time with it. Was I willing to accept this bug as a one off? Sure, it honestly probably was. But could I find myself restarting and doing everything over again? No. That kinda says it all for me. It's a weird game that I was giving a fair shot. But once I hit that bug, I decided I wasn't going to invest anymore time. If it wasn't for the bug, I'd have kept playing. But because the game locked me in a hole and made me ask myself if I was willing to do it all over again, I came to the realization that it wasn't for me. I won't recommend, but I am sure there are plenty out there that have not had an issue like me and enjoyed their time with it. I would also normally let a small indie dev keep my money, but since the game itself had an error, I am going to refund. I will say that the regular asking price is too high, be sure to get on a discount.

S.L. (Du Vollhonk warum kaufst du das, sofort Löschen
This game is probably one of the best games I've played, if you want to relax and enjoy a chill game, craft and create then this is defo for you!! Haven't been able to play anything else since I started to play as it's visuals and chill vibe really sucks you in, having so much fun and hopefully see more things added to the game as time goes on.
This game is glitchy, the voice acting and lines are super cringe, and it definitely lacks polish. However, it's also incredibly fun. Some games are like that - they nail the gameplay so much that you don't mind the shortcomings (Skyrim anyone?) Truly a hidden gem. It takes elements from other survival games (Stranded Deep comes to mind, although UNPOC is way more polished than that), but doesn't copy anything. It has a very unique feel to it, which I appreciate because way too many games, even AAA titles, lack any soul. I really enjoyed playing it so far and will continue playing, because even though the world feels small at first (I recommend playing with 7+ islands), there's a lot you can do before you get bored. Also the developer (single person) is super responsive on Discord. I found an annoying bug, and a fix got deployed the next day. Yeah, ideally there would be no bugs at all, but let me know if you find a bugless game...
U.N.P.O.C. Vessel of Opportunity is an open-world adventure and survival title developed and published by Danny Ziemer that builds its experience around exploration, treasure hunting, environmental puzzles, and the pursuit of opportunity in uncertain circumstances. Rather than focusing on large-scale combat systems or highly scripted storytelling, the game delivers a slower and more personal journey centered on discovery, persistence, and carving out a better future through determination and curiosity. Its structure combines exploration-driven gameplay with survival elements and procedural generation, creating an experience that emphasizes freedom and gradual progression over constant action. The story follows an ordinary individual trapped in a life that feels stagnant and financially difficult. Working long hours without fulfillment, the protagonist becomes drawn toward stories of a valuable treasure lost centuries ago beneath dangerous waters. That possibility becomes the catalyst for change. What begins as a search for wealth gradually transforms into something larger: a personal journey driven by ambition, uncertainty, and the desire to escape a disappointing routine. The narrative framework gives the adventure emotional motivation beyond simply gathering valuables. Exploration stands at the center of nearly everything U.N.P.O.C. Vessel of Opportunity offers. Players sail across open waters, travel between islands, dive beneath the surface to investigate hidden areas, and search unfamiliar locations for secrets waiting to be uncovered. The world encourages players to move at their own pace rather than forcing strict progression paths. Discovery itself becomes the primary reward. Curiosity consistently leads toward hidden opportunities, whether those involve treasure, puzzle solutions, or entirely unexpected locations. Treasure hunting naturally becomes one of the strongest parts of the gameplay loop. Lost valuables, hidden containers, underwater discoveries, and buried rewards encourage players to investigate beyond obvious objectives. The game consistently rewards careful exploration and patience. Players willing to search thoroughly often uncover meaningful discoveries that strengthen progression and reinforce the feeling of genuine adventure. Hunting for long-lost riches becomes more satisfying because discovery feels earned rather than automatically provided. The procedural world generation system contributes heavily to replayability. Island layouts and environmental arrangements can shift between playthroughs, helping exploration maintain a sense of unpredictability. Returning players are not simply repeating identical routes. Different world structures encourage experimentation and preserve the excitement of venturing into unfamiliar territory. This design choice supports long-term engagement naturally without depending entirely on additional progression systems. Puzzle-solving adds another layer to exploration. Players regularly encounter environmental challenges requiring observation and logical thinking. Certain progression paths demand careful attention to clues and surroundings rather than simply moving directly toward objectives. These moments help create variety while reinforcing the game's larger focus on discovery and thoughtful exploration. Survival mechanics introduce structure without overwhelming the broader adventure. Preparation matters during longer journeys. Resource awareness and planning become important considerations while traveling across islands and investigating dangerous areas. The survival systems provide additional pressure without dominating the experience entirely. Instead, they strengthen immersion by encouraging players to think carefully about how they approach exploration. Sailing itself becomes a surprisingly important part of the atmosphere. Open water travel creates quiet moments between discoveries, allowing the experience room to breathe. The ocean functions as more than scenery. It establishes mood, distance, and isolation while reinforcing the larger themes of uncertainty and chasing opportunity. These quieter stretches contribute heavily to the game's identity. The visual presentation favors readability and environmental exploration over technical spectacle. Islands remain distinct enough to encourage continued exploration while underwater locations provide moments of mystery and tension. The independent nature of development occasionally becomes visible in production scale, but the artistic focus remains clear. The world supports exploration effectively without distracting from gameplay priorities. One particularly unusual aspect involves the developer's transparent use of AI-assisted tools during portions of production. Certain voice elements and content assets incorporate generative technology as part of development. While reactions to this approach may vary depending on player preference, the openness surrounding these choices allows players to evaluate the experience with clear expectations. The game does carry limitations. Players expecting frequent combat encounters or heavily directed progression may find the slower pacing restrictive. Exploration remains the primary attraction from beginning to end. The survival systems and puzzle mechanics support that structure rather than replacing it. Some players may also desire additional complexity in progression systems or broader gameplay variety during longer sessions. However, those limitations feel tied directly to the game's identity rather than design failures. U.N.P.O.C. Vessel of Opportunity does not attempt to become a combat-heavy survival title or a cinematic adventure experience. Danny Ziemer instead focuses heavily on exploration, persistence, and personal discovery. The result feels more reflective than many modern adventure games, allowing atmosphere and curiosity to drive progression. Its strongest moments emerge when players discover something unexpected after taking time to explore beyond obvious paths. Finding hidden treasure, solving environmental mysteries, or reaching isolated locations creates rewarding moments that reinforce the game's central ideas. Success rarely feels handed to the player. It feels uncovered. For players who enjoy open-ended exploration, treasure hunting systems, slower-paced survival mechanics, sailing adventures, and progression driven by curiosity rather than urgency, U.N.P.O.C. Vessel of Opportunity offers a focused and rewarding experience. Its quieter design philosophy may not appeal to every audience, but players willing to embrace discovery and patience will likely find an adventure worth pursuing. Rating: 7/10
Was ein Quatsch. So wird man ja nie fertig. Auch im echten Leben kann ich mehr als 2 Bretter tragen.^^
I've been having a good time with this game! I love base building games and this is just a chill awesome survival experience. I found myself getting lost with just collecting resources and planning my next base build, then remembered i could build a raft and i spent some time building a pretty big raft with a fishing storage and a rain catcher along with 6 barrels of storage and set out to gather more! Highly recommend this game. P.S eat three vegetables before eating a fish and you will get the max amount of hunger restoration!
PiXeL
