Trash Sailors: Co-Op Trash Raft Simulator

If you're looking for a game to share on the same couch with your partner or a friend, and maybe yell at each other while laughing, this is the one. I don't get the haters; its charm is exactly in how simple and chaotic it is. My wife and I are always looking for good local co-op games, and we hit the jackpot with this one. The concept is simple: you and your partner in misery are sailing on a raft made of pure junk. You'll have to coordinate to gather trash from the sea, repair the hull, fuel the engine, and fight off whatever crawls out of the water. The fun comes directly from that chaos and from shouting at each other to do their part. All of this comes with a great, hand-drawn art style. buy it and jump straight into the story mode. It's just straightforward, uncomplicated fun.

I love this game. The artwork is beautiful and it gives me hope that there will be jobs in the future, after we destroy the world with rising sea level and all our trash. That said, it isn't an easy game. After all, it is meant to prepare you for the post apocalypse hellscape we are on a collision for! This is a simulator for survival! Some things you need to know before you get this: - You will need 3 to 4 players to even stand a chance. Just like in any real survival situation, larger groups tend to do better. Point being, make some real life friends to play this game. - The boat doesn't stop! So get ready to collide with a lot of stuff! Learn to jump as a team to dodge garbage! Obviously, this is to build cooperation and coordination with your new group of friend you will be surviving the apocalypses with. - For some reason, the Devs have everyone start as the same character, an old man. This is, I imagine, commentary on the selfishness of older generations destroying the planet? Anyways, it makes it a total PAIN IN THE @SS to tell each other apart. It does get easier as you unlock clothing items and other charters. This is actually my only complaint about the game.
