I have fallen in love with Yard Sale Simulator. It's become my go-to game for a quiet escape from the world because I find it so relaxing to play and it has a sense of humor that always makes me giggle. I love that I can play this at my own pace and I find the game mechanics (like cleaning & restoring the treasures I find in the trash or at auction) to be very satisfying. The developers are amazing and constantly adding more to the game. I did receive a free game key from them, but I wouldn't keep playing the game or take the time to post a review if I didn't love it as much as I do.

This game is very addicting but also cozy! there's hardly any pressure or worry about paying bills on time and there are no other competitors. It's a little slow at first but give it a little time and you'll be hooked! The devs are very responsive on any questions, concerns or bugs you may have and the community is great!! Love the humor that was put into the items and the voices of the NPCs. If you're looking for a cozy management game, this is it!

*I received a key from the Dev when I attended Game Con Canada (GCC) in Edmonton.* [h1] One man's trash, is yours to sell! [/h1] I didn't expect to sink as much time into this as I did, but the simple gameplay loop kept me busy. Considering I am not a fan of the graphics, I looked past it and played through it. Start out in your trailer, dig through dumpsters to find items, take them back home and restore them to sell for a profit. Repeat to upgrade your skills to fix more complex items. Eventually when you get more money, you can purchase a new property to expand your reach and attract more customers. Explore the map to find items to help uncover more items. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3506495779 The biggest gripe I have with the game (other than the graphics) is the helpful tutorials only tell you about half of what the game has to offer. The game doesn't tell you about buying new properties, doesn't tell you about hiring employees (I never knew about that until I read it on the Steam page, and still don't know how to do that,) doesn't explain well enough about that you have to find certain items like the shovel and metal detector, though thankfully those are easy to find close to your starting point. When you level up your barter skill, you get the option to negotiate prices when you sell something, you can ALWAYS max price it and sell the items no matter what. I've never had a customer decline my offers ever. The game never crashed on me, and only had 1 game breaking bug. The game breaking bug was when I interacted with the auctioneer right as the auction ended, and I was stuck zoomed into where he was, that I couldn't move or open the pause menu, and had to Alt F4. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3506495828 After 15 hours, I had my fun and felt like I've seen it all. For $17.49 CDN, I assume $15 USD, I feel like it might be a little pricey for what the game is. If the game is on sale (which was on sale for like $3,) I say that's a great time to give the game a whirl if you are interested in giving this game a try!

Yard Sale Simulator is a Great game! Finally, a game with tons of things to do (and so many different ways to play!). I love to see developers who don't just do "what everyone else does" - this game really stands out for me. You can have a great time just wandering around, looting trash cans, or even driving a kid’s toy car (and don't forget Magnet fishing and Metal detector!). One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. :)
