so many bugs i try so hard to like it but the bugs make it impossible anytime i get far a bug freezes the game and i lose hours of progress
I have to say that this game is a hidden a gem and I strongly recommend this game. First, I will acknowledge the flaws. This game is being made by a solo developer and is very much a work in progress with new features being added and bugs being constantly added and removed. It is a bit rough in some areas; the UI is counterintuitive and some features and game mechanics are not properly explained and some things don't make sense (Seriously, what's up with the 20 day months?). But this is an early access game and the point is the game is not a finished product and by its very nature it is imperfect and rough. And the developer is open to constructive criticism, so you can report bugs and get them fixed much more easier than a AAA game. With that out of the way; I highly recommend this game for a number of reasons: 1) It's a unique game covering something that few games directly touch and in a way in that no other game does. It's not just a simulator, but it is an RPG game as well. So you not only simulate being a drug dealer, but you also role play which adds features such as class and skill points. 2) It's (relatively) realistic as far as the drug economy and market goes. Obviously, it has to play like a video game and there's some artistic license, but it's actually more realistic as to how the drug trade works at the low and medium level than most other games. In real life, drug dealers start really small and buy their work at incredibly inflated prices. Usually doing something like buying an ounce from another dealer who mostly sells to users, breaking it down into grams or quarters or eighths and then selling it. It goes quickly, they get a bit of profit, but use most of it for the re-up. That's how the early game works. You have grand a bit until you find a plug and then you might be able get a little something going. Even in the early stages, the money for a pound of weed might be hard to come by and the profit isn't much and if you get arrested or get jacked; you lose what you had. In the early stages, you're not Nino Brown or Tony Montana; you're Dre, some regular dude from the ghetto who is hustling his ass off to keep his head above water and trying not to get arrested, robbed, or killed. Which is the truth for 90% of dealers. In real life, slinging on a street level pays barely more than a regular job when you consider the hours worked and risks taken. This game also includes features that I've never seen in a crime game like cutting cocaine or cooking crack. Not only cutting cocaine, but using different mixes to stretch it out or trying to enhance it like adding caffeine to the coke to prevent the cut from weakening it too much. The developer has either done his homework or known people in the life and that's none of my business. 3) There's tons of features to the game. You can hire four different characters to deal for you with each one having a drug they specialize in and getting a second type of drug once they reach a high enough level. You can open a crackhouse. You can setup a grow-op. You can create a stash house. You can setup a sweatshop (an operation to cut coke and/or cook crack and it's staffed by several nude women; which is another realistic detail as the workers in real life usually work naked or in their underwear to reduce the chance of theft or wearing a wire). There's a number of different features. My only beefs are that some of are only partially fleshed out or limited or even have deeper mechanics that are not fully fleshed out. Like there's different ways to run a crackhouse, but it doesn't go into detail as to what those mean in practice. There's different crews of YNs, but they're not really fleshed out. You can only operate one crackhouse, but when Dre is selling more pies than a bakery and sells more horse than a stud ranch; why can't he have more than one trap house? There's the girlfriend feature, but the game never really mentions as to what benefit (or entertainment) having a girlfriend can bring since you can just hook up for a bit of stress relief. 3) The game has a great sense of humor and you can feel the passion in the game itself. It's not just fun and interesting, but it's also funny. The descriptions of various plugs and other characters shows that the developer has a clever sense of humor. There's also an undefinable sense that this is a work of love that flows through the game. This doesn't feel like some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thrown together to make a quick buck. You can feel this is something that the developer has spent a lot of time and thought creating and that he created the type of game he always wanted to play, but didn't exist, so he decided to make it. This might not sound like a feature, but I disagree. You can often tell when something is a passion project made by someone with some talent. Quentin Tarantino has said that he makes the type of movies that he wanted to watch and he's considered by many to be one of the best living directors. I can tell this is something the developer wanted to play and the game is much better for it. So, yes, I whole-heartedly recommend this game and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves.

love the new updates i cant become too rich too fast. my only complaints is not having a clear example for crack mini game and stress not being visible out the trap/safehouse was so busy selling weight i had a mental breakdown
Game Review for Trapper: Drug Dealing RPG I really like the concept of the game, but right now it feels like it lacks depth and direction. There’s no real end goal other than paying rent on a home you should already own—which doesn’t really make sense in the current setup. Here are some things I think would make the game stronger: More Crew Options: Let us hire more goons and actually equip them with vests and guns. Right now, upgrading your crew feels too limited. Skill Progression: Adding a library or bookstore where you can buy books to upgrade your character’s skills would help a lot. At the moment, winning negotiations feels almost impossible because there’s no real way to improve your stats. Calendar System: A calendar showing how many days you’ve been playing would give the game more structure, instead of only tracking the 20 days before rent is due. Clear Money Goals: The random “game over” for not making enough money is frustrating because the game never tells you how much you need to make in the first place. You can’t fail a requirement that was never given. Setting a clear amount of money the player must earn within a specific number of days would make the experience feel fair and purposeful. Right now, players are basically guessing and hoping they made enough each month. The game has a lot of potential, and I hope one of the developers reaches out. Thanks in advance!
i have 80 plus hours in this game and i love it.. But since a few days ago i cant seem to complete a fight or altercation without my game freezing.. it wont let me click "Ok" to continue after i finished it.. it'll let me play all the way through until the end then freezes
HAD GAME FOR A WHILE AND GAVE MULTIPLE CHANCES BECAUSE I DO LIKE THE GAME BUT SINCE DAY ONE GAME HAS BEEN BUGGY AND ALWAYS HAS SOMETHING GOING ON THAT MAKES YOU NOT BE ABLE TO ENJOY THE GAME
man this game is a hidden gem fr. dope game.
Leaving a review as more people should know about this game! Really enjoy playing. Have to say some things are not very clear on how they work for new players. However once you get the mechanics it's very addicitve. Every so often I notice myself getting an itch to play this again! Only gripe I have is that the updates could be more regular, however it seems to be a solo dev. All in all, I hope the game gets expanded upon!
fire game graphics could use work lots of bugs but its to be expected because single dev, however there are semi frequent updated to the game it has lots of potential if i'm honest game is a little pricey and never goes on sale but very action packed never the less one downside is that after you get like a gazziloin dollars from save scuming theres not much also to do other than restart your save to a new playstyle
Its a good game and i had it for a while but its just too buggy to play, will recommend when you fix this game.
