We've made a calculator roguelike! Yes, it's not a joke. A boring device has turned into an interesting strategy, where each calculator you collect sets its own style of play. Can you count all the numbers and prove who's the king of calculations here?

Mathlatro Bottom text
The echo of Balatro will echo through games for a decade, people desperate to figure out the sauce for a game where random object generation combines with escalating stakes to give you a tense high that feels compelling. And the concept here, a calculator, is hilarious. I've been checking in with each update, and I think after all this time I've simply come to the conclusion that there isn't the sauce here. It's a fun idea, but doesn't have much more than that to work with. I don't think more updates are going to improve that.
A fun little roguelike for people who like the numbers part of Countdown
I feel that there is a lot of potential in this game. It is very creative, but just needs better presentation and balancing. Overall, if you like math or rougelikes (I enjoy both), then it is a pretty good purchase.
Fun game overall and fine for the price, but it gets a bit repetitive and there being no lose condition in endless makes it bland (I quit before I "lost" because I got disinterested). It's also fairly easy, which makes it less interesting to keep playing. Also misclicking a number means you used it, which was more difficult to recover from than actually beating the game. As well as unclear descriptions of certain types of items.
This is a perfectly good game, but just isn't fun and very repetitive
