OVERVIEW:
The game is a continuation of Freight Simulator (which I have also played). Transporter Manager Tycoon is a management game, which allows you to expand your company to several branches and follow different paths, different than Freight Simulator where you only managed your transport company, you can now transform your company into a distributor or in a stock holding. Of course, I couldn't miss the chance to play this game, after having played Freight Simulator.
POSITIVES:
Like the previous game, the whole game is well balanced, with well-defined levels of difficulty, so it is not very easy to get things done, but it is also not very difficult (except in the difficult mode, where it really is very difficult, and recommend it only to experts) The game's performance is very good on my PC, I didn't have any lag or crash problems, I played for about 10 hours straight and I didn't have any performance problems. The way the game allows you to expand your company is a very cool dynamic, the game at no time holds you in a form of growth, but rather, gives you the freedom to grow your company as you wish, which leaves the gameplay very variable with several options each time you start a new game. The elements of micromanagement are very good, if you try hard you can get good profits with details, for example, you can buy a truck that uses less fuel and save in the long run. The elements of macro management are also great, the game has managers who can help you perform basic tasks, such as refueling trucks, starting trips automatically, etc. This allows that, in the future, when you advance in the game, you do not go into a loop, having to do repetitive tasks, leaving more time to really think about business. This part of personal life management (which was already present in the Freight Simulator) is very cool, I couldn't miss the chance to talk about it. It is a proposal for an additional challenge in the game, where you must manage your needs along the time, and for that, you will really need to make money in the game, if not, you will die of hunger or thirst. The sound effects of the game are amazing, they really immersed me in the game. For every thing you do it has a really cool sound. Not to mention the background music that can be a little distracting while you run your business, and that´s cool.
NEGATIVES:
A negative point is that the game does not show which city your truck is going to, it only shows how many km away the destination is and what the total kilometer distance is. I think if they showed you where the truck is going and made a small map it would be incredible.
MY OPINION:
I loved the game. I always liked management games, and I bought the predecessor game at its launch (the Freight Simulator), and at the launch of the previous game, there were a lot of bugs and some things that got in the way of the game. But after a few weeks the developers fixed it and the game was great. With Transporter Manager Tycoon, that didn't happen. After 15 hours of gameplay, I didn't find any bugs or anything that would hinder my gaming experience. So I think the developers have evolved a lot and the game is very polished. It is very difficult to find good quality indie games these days, and Transporter Manager Tycoon brings a very good experience, with lots of details, incredible sounds and all this well balanced. All of this makes the quality of the game worthy of a prize. The design of the game is very beautiful, despite not having many graphics, but the UI is very nice. I'm sure if you like management games you will love this game. It's a little hard to learn at first, but after you learn to play this game, you get hooked and spend hours on it. I really recommend this game!
Uff.

I like management games, and I also like 2d games, so consequently it is impossible not to like this game. I think that this type of graph combine with management games, it makes the game easier to manage. Of course, low poly graphics are also excellent, and if the game were made in low poly it would look better. But for me, as it is, it's great.
Without exaggeration, I can say that it is one of the best tycoon games I have ever played. Not the best, but get on my list of favorite games. I already have 6 trucks in my company and I'm expanding more and more. The game allows you to have a gradual growth, and I love it. I feel like I’m running a real company and it looks like everything is working out. There is only one visual bug in the freight section, nothing that gets in the way, but I hope they fix it. By the way, the game is perfect !! such a game!!
The management part of the game is excellent, as it is a successor game to Freight Simulator, it would be impossible for me not to like it. But I was very excited about this continuation, with several management options and several directions that can be taken according to your gameplay. I am very satisfied due to the fact that now it is not just a matter of transporting cargo, but of having a real business with the possibility of expansion. So as I said, I already liked Freight Simulator a lot, so, I´m in love with this game.
I love tycoon and business games and like the premises for this game as well - ticks a lot of the right boxes and looks great. Graphics are simple but crisp (could do with some options to make text bigger but that's a small point). I can't recommend the game at present as the time mechanic is driving me mad! You hit "end turn" button then wait for what seems like ages (around 5-10 seconds) for a day end menu to pop up that you need to close to restart time again. Also time stops when you are in game menus as well. I know it seems pedantic but this time delay at the end of the day is really annoying to me for what could be a great game. Some other negatives: 1. Have to refuel trucks manually until you employ a manager (costly at start of game) 2. No details around what trailers your truck can pull until you buy one to find out it doesn't work with your truck 3. Tutorial lacking but you can get by - doesn't explain about the fuel thing. 4. End turn loading times are very long (I have a high end PC so it's not the hardware that's the issue) I have only started the game but am debating seeking a refund and might leave it for a day or two and then try again to see if the time thing still annoys me enough to return the game. Am leaning towards a refund at this time though
Bugs and crashes every 2 minutes.
It is a great game to play for an entire weekend. I started playing yesterday, I bought it after launch and I didn't even see the time pass, it seems that I entered another world, it awakened that feeling of wanting to expand more and more, something that few games manage to awaken. So, after 12 hours of playing I was able to set up my distributor and now I am working to buy more properties and shares. I can't stop, is it good or bad? Lol
Exceeded my expectations. I was really excited about the game launch, and well, I came playing this afternoon and what I have to say is that I'm just addicted and I can't stop playing. The game leads you very well, and makes you want to grow and expand your business with a very well-designed level of difficulty, not being too difficult to do things but also, not too easy and that fascinated me.
