I woke up in a dimly lit basement. You have no memory of who you are or why you are here. Can you escape from this place?

This game was waaaay too intense for a Thursday evening. There are some serious jumpscares in the beginning, but as you progress you'll understand those were nothing compared to what was coming. My adrenaline started pumping the moment I saw you could hide in the lockers, which is usually bad news. This game is absolutely amazing, it runs smoothie, I didn't encounter any bugs and the immersion is beyond expectations. It might start to feel a little frustrating when you see you're constantly being chased, but only in the end I realized I was making too much noise. I absolutely recommend this game and I think the price doesn't do it justice! Here's the full gameplay: https://youtu.be/afirbDks3pE
We're spawning inside a basement with a wiped memory and no idea why we are there, and by the time we finish the game, we won't be an inch closer to having any clue as to what we are doing down there. We get to go through a very eerie underground location full of cellars. Here we'll carry out some average puzzles, should be nothing unfamiliar to regular indie horror gamers; in order to open doors, we find keys, and to be able to see any other color than pitch black, we of course grab a flashlight. Yep! Besides the very average puzzles, it has an even bigger emphasis on Stealth gameplay, which is executed in a pretty phenomenal way here, when compared to other indie games. Really good balancing of AI — It's not easy to beat, but not exceptionally hard either. We have a few safe hiding spots, and map knowledge is required to use them efficiently. Also, really appreciating the clever mechanic where the AI will hear us if we step on glass or run into chains hanging from the ceiling, (both of which are scattered all throughout the basement). It does so much good for the overall difficulty. It has certainly been a good amount of time since I have touched anything that matches the level of atmosphere TransMemory brings. Really good job. Constantly subtle raise of tension the further we progress, and it's also pretty generous by handing us some occasional scares. There's also some negative points to it — unfortunately no backstory/story, thereby no answer to what we are doing avoiding the limping wretch that's relentlessly trying to catch us down at the bottom floor of the bunker. On a technical note, it doesn't support any resolutions above 1920x1080 which is a shame. Really hoping it can be added down the line. Maybe the limited resolution is not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things, when it simultaneously & deliberately uses a extreme amount of grainy effects, which can't be turned off. Okay
An extremely amazing bodycam realistic horror game with scary manniquins trying to get you. Took me 76 minutes to beat, highly reccomended playthrough
A RELUCTANT POSITIVE REVIEW This game scared me a few times, I can't deny that. It was a neat walking simulator which can be completed in an hour and you get to experience some creepy dark vibes, eerie sounds, and a number of jump scares for just a few dollars. However, my only criticism is that this is almost a complete copy of "deppart: prototype" which came out on itch.io last year, minus the weapon aspect. The starting screen is almost exactly the same, the corridors are the same, and I didn't really feel like this developer did much for me to say this was a unique experience. If this is their first game, I'm all for assets being reused because I've seen many other games do the same. I always appreciate any indie dev creating something for us to play, which is why this still gets a positive rating. But to my personal peers, I wouldn't recommend it for them to play it. I can't vouch for a game that copies assets this close to another game and doesn't have much substance/story to feel immersed. If you want a quick inexpensive scare, you'll enjoy this game.
