Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 8 → 1.57/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.86/day in the week to Jul 23 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You were desperate for money to pay the rent, so you've accepted a job offer at a doll factory. What seemed like a way to make an easy buck, turned out to be something much more sinister.

Carefully inspect each doll for strange defects and eerie behaviors. Spot every anomaly, from subtle flaws to unsettling movements, and ensure only the 'safe' dolls make it through.

You will not be chased by monster. Nothing will scream or jump into your face. You don't have to fight anyone or strive for resources.
At the same time, this is not a chill game. It's still a horror game. You will feel scared, unease and oppressive feelings, like you're being watched or something will happen to you. Something definitely will.
This game was made by developers who are too scared to play other horror games, so they made this.

In this horror game, every playthrough is slightly different. Many events in the game are not scripted, meaning that what you encounter is shaped by the moment.
No two players will experience the game the same way, ensuring that your journey is distinctly your own. Explore and uncover the factory's secrets, where each moment keeps you guessing what will happen next.
Inspect dolls for defects and anomalies.
Explore the dark and mysterious corners of the factory.
Maintain production equipment.
Follow strange protocols (just do, for your own safety).
Uncover the mystery behind the dolls and the factory.
Try not to lose your sanity and your life.

Boring and predictable, even the different defect's don't overlap. Worst of all, the AI voice.
It's a chill, very short horror game where you just do your job, experience weird things, and get paid. I personally love this kind of concept, that means it got my favoritism. Still, there is always room for improvement. While there are many defects and anomalies you need to inspect on the dolls, they do not balance it well; for my play, as an example, only 1-2 times of confronting a sharp-teeth doll, 6-finger doll, and dent clothes (no more than twice, which is a shame). The story is also too linear. If you are not stupid, you can figure out very quickly how you will end up and must do something to avoid that. The game claimed/promised that: (1) there will be no monster chasing, and (2) nothing will scream or jump into your face. This claim is what intrigued me a lot, as I wonder how a horror game can survive without these 2 important elements; this game kept the promise pretty well, though, without ruining the terrifying atmosphere.

I bought this game on sale for my 9 year old niece because she begged me to buy it. Since watching her play (and playing a bit myself), I can say that the dev's did a fantastic job on this game. The game is comedically scary IMO but apparently not to a 9 y/o at times lol. We binge-played this game for 3 days trying to get both endings. We managed to get all the achievements besides the post-it note one, however, we plan to snatch the last one before the summer is over.
PROS + Strong atmosphere with horror that doesn't rely heavily on jumpscares. + Surprisingly deep hidden lore and storytelling. + Satisfying progression through new rooms, mechanics, and secrets. + Interesting combination of job simulation and anomaly horror. CONS - Short overall experience. - Replayability doesn't change the experience as much as expected. - Some typos and spelling errors hurt the presentation. - Limited character diversity in the doll designs. VERDICT Dollmare is a great example of how a simple job-simulation concept can hide something much more interesting underneath. I particularly enjoyed how the game gradually reveals its secrets instead of immediately showing everything it's capable of. It's a short but memorable horror experience with more depth than its premise initially suggests, although its limited replayability and technical shortcomings keep it from reaching its full potential. 3.5/5
