This is a truly brilliant game, story is amazing, music is amazing, gameplay is very good but challenging at points. (I bet if you grasp this sort of gameplay style easily this game would be a lot easier for you then me, regardless of it taking me a bit it's insanely fun even if I do get frustrated when it gets difficult for me it didn't frustrate me to the point of feeling bad/ragefull). The Music: The music is amazing and is integral with the story, characters, and just general feeling to the game. You can feel the emotions of the world and characters through the melodies and sometimes words. This is a game that understood the harmony of story & song weaving them together perfectly. I actually bought the OST about when the game came out, way before I'd actually get to play it! The atmosphere/visuals: This game, goodness this game. The visuals are just stunning and no words here can do it justice. The colors all flow together perfectly and the progression of how the atmosphere looks as the story continues gives off the foreboading tone the story demands of it to which it more then delivers. Story: It's a bittersweet story through and through full of action and emotion, and though our character is rendered mute throughout the story there is still moments we see her personality, she isn't a blank slate she has her own character, own personality. There is a lot of reading involved if you want every lore bit possible but you don't have to read it all to understand whats happening, it's just a very good addition that just adds and adds to the story. Basicly don't fret if you don't want to do a bunch of reading you'll still understand and enjoy everything it's just you might get more info and enjoyment from reading. Gameplay: Combat is both straight forward and not, it both is real time and turn based which is fun but can also lead to some frustrating situations. The combinations for attack powers can also be a bit tideous to figure out, this is why I say if you are more used to games that have simillar styles to this one you'll probably enjoy the combat even more then I did and not get as frustrated at the parts I did. This game consists of two gameplay mechanics, combat and walking/finding terminals and selecting multiple choice options which don't always add to the story but are fun and give us more insight into our two main characters and the world they live in. (most terminals are optional)
Good
I didn't like Bastion, but this was an improvement. Better story and mechanics.
Oh My God
An inspirational piece of artwork, a well-balanced turn based and real time action, good characters, even greater story. Never cried this much, never felt the same after my first playthrough. Definitely check it out.
This is one of those rare games that feels almost perfect in nearly every aspect: art, music, gameplay, narrative... The world is stunning, a beautiful mix of art nouveau and sci-fi. The art isn't simply decoration, it builds atmosphere and emotion. The OST is SO GOOD. It enhances every single moment, imbuing the game with a haunting melancholic beauty. 10/10 I would hum along with Red again. The only think I think may be hit or miss for some people is the gameplay. But for me, once the build clicked, it was incredibly satisfying. What really stands out though is the mood: the mix of beauty, melancholy and intensity that sticks with you long after the credits roll...
juegazo
Boring.
美丽的爱情,美丽的游戏。
Crazy interesting game. The combat can feel a bit janky at times, but the possibilities are endless and the presentation is absolutely gorgeous.
