I waste way too much time in this addictive game!
Weird balancing where you could kill a number of ships right from the get-go. Also looting alien ships for hours for your last system before galactic core is anticlimactic and tiresome.
An ambitious sci-fi rougelike with a lot of soul! Crazy coming back to this after at least 15 years and seeing how much has changed. Pros - A fascinating and well-written setting with a lot of mystery that I felt compelled to explore further and further into. - Screenshots don't quite do it justice but this game looks great in motion. Art design is great too with the blocky Commonwealth ships, sleek designs of the Ares Orthodoxy and plenty of other bizarre and striking visuals for the more alien factions. - Lots of hidden mechanics to figure out through trial and error. - Great freedom. You can go around building making an honest living as an escort (.. not like that) for shipping corporations or spend your time smuggling drugs, human organs and (worst of all) pirated movies. Or whatever the hell you want! There's many paths to power and thankfully no need for grinding due to the XP-less system. - It's an awesome feeling turning your ship from some little flea equipped with an ancient engine and a peashooter into some crazy end-game nuclear missile flinging, time-stopping behemoth. Cons - Some of the UI is starting to show its age a bit. Sorting through your inventory becomes quite the pain by mid-game, especially without the ability to sort by categories. - I use fuel even when parked??? I think I got so interested in reading item descriptions once I spent half a tank of fuel. Does this guy just leave the ship idling for a month or something?
Very good game.
Not sure how many hours I've played over the decades, much of it offline. Still enjoy the experience. Once you get used to the controls, it's more enjoyable than many of the other spaceship games I've tried.
No se que me dío con star trek que acabe comprandome juegos así de cutres osea que cojones
Transcendence is one of those games that draws you back for another run, not because of the stunning 3D graphics and ray tracing, but for the simple things like character progression, a good storyline, and fun combat. What makes Transcendence so engrossing is the simplicity that allows your imagination to fill out everything else. I've played this game many times over the years (since .3x I think?), and I'm even pausing my Stalker 2 run to give this game another few hours. It's that good.
Amazing game that i still return from time to time. its simple, wast, peaceful and hardcore. would like multiplayer and sandbox also inf arena. The most interesting thing in this game is that it has real laws of our world of CONSEQUENCE and FAITH
