Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Toy Tactics is a physics-based real time tactics game where you can draw unit formations and command units based on minifigs to victory. Under the guidance of legendary generals, master the ability to draw configurations into the battlefield and send miniature legions to war against hordes of undead foes. Charge up your army with artifacts and destructive spells to give you the upper hand in battle and smash your foes in real-time. Create intense battles in both single-player and multiplayer modes in “1v1” or “Co-op”. Think fast, deploy your units strategically, and lead them to victory!
All units in Toy Tactics are inspired by miniature figures used to recreate historical battles and fictional ones too! Fight against, or as, skeletal dinosaurs, spooky necromancers, and stealthy samurai. These bloodthirsty enemies want you to utter destruction. Battles occur in many scenarios, from the sunny pirate-dominated island of Tortuga in the Caribbean to the perilous mountains of feudal Japan; expect the unexpected!
Freeze the game at any time to draw new formations. From simple commands to charge and encircle your enemies to more complex strategic formations like pincer or wedge formations, divide your army into battalions and give each one a unique formation. The battlefield is a canvas, and you are its artist.
Just as in a real battle, in Toy Tactics your minifigs helmets are sure to roll. Watch your units fight with fully simulated physics for every encounter, crumble castle walls, and destroy structures. Witness the chaos and destruction unfold in a most epic fashion as the field is flooded with combat scenes.
Turn a bad situation around with our spell and relic system. Defeat enemies to charge up your power, then summon reinforcement catapults, quickly construct medical tents to heal allies or drop flaming meteors onto the heads of your foes. Personalize your strategies by unlocking your favorite spells through our skill tree; the possibilities are endless!
A physics-based RTS game with a unique drawing system.
Many unit types with strengths and weaknesses: raptor mounting skeletons, stealthy samurai warriors, impenetrable Roman legions, and many more!
Magical spells to blow enemies away, heal your allies, bring back fallen enemies as allies, and more!
Physics simulation system that sends foes flying and helmets rolling.
Five challenging campaigns, each with its challenging boss fights!
Five game modes: Campaign, Puzzle, Mercenary, Sandbox and Multiplayer:
"Co-op mode": Team up with another player to fight against AI, aiming to survive, coordinate, and produce units. Strategic skills and quick decision-making will be paramount.
"1v1": Face off against another player. You will build your army, select powerful relics and spells, and meticulously plan your tactics to emerge victorious.
Toy Tactics offers a hardcore strategy experience that will challenge even the most seasoned commanders! Gear up, draw your formations, and lead your minifig troops to victory. See you on the battlefield, commander!

As a fan of TABS, I got a similar vibe when I first saw this game. I’d describe it as a more strategic, puzzle-oriented version of TABS. The difficulty scales up smoothly, offering a satisfying challenge that’s perfect for playing a round or two during breaks. Art style is charming, and the whole game feels thoughtfully crafted. It’s also a game worth analyzing from a game design perspective there are clever ideas. This game is definitely a labor of love and deserves more attention. Praise to the dev team for creating something unique and polished!
10/10 – HOW IS THIS NOT ON STEAM'S FRONT PAGE?! Toy Tactics is hands down the best RTS and tactical game I’ve ever played! The art style is absolutely charming, and the physics make every battle feel dynamic and fun. I can’t believe more people aren’t talking about this game—it deserves way more attention! The gameplay is smooth, engaging, and full of creative mechanics that keep things fresh. I love how intuitive the controls are, and the level of strategy you can pull off is just insane. Every battle feels like a handcrafted toy war come to life! To the devs: PLEASE keep updating this masterpiece! I love this game so much that I just bought 3 extra copies for my friends—this needs to be played by everyone! 🔥🔥🔥 AWESOME GAME! 🔥🔥🔥

It is a okay game but I think the replayability of the game is not good. Very fun for the first few couple of hours. There are 5 faction I guess, each faction have their own campaign. I finish the roman campaign that took me around 7 hours to finish. So on average I think it will take around 35-40 hours to finish the game. Not much story narrative in the campaign. After that , there are couple of gaming mode , skirmish, puzzle, mercenaries and sandbox. Which once you finish it and that's it. For instance in skirmish, each faction is lock to the same map , so once you finish the map there wont be any thing new to experience because, the camp , the enemy location are all the same and if you really like a certain faction., you can only play the same map again with the same enemy with the same location. The game still need optimization, games frame rate drop during skirmish but the campaign is good. There wont be any key binding. All key are lock. So no customization for you key. Game play is quite slow due to the movement of the unit and you can only move your cam with keyboard (WASD/QE) so the speed of the cam movement is lock too. Not many people are in the multiplayer too. So you will need friends to play with or else you can only play the campaign, skirmish, puzzle, mercenaries and sandbox. If the developer keep improving and polishing the user experience and the replayability in the skirmish, the game would be quite fun. Giving a thumb up because this game has potential and if you want to buy keep the above in mind.
amazing game great campain and able to show the power of positioning with less peoplle in your army a great strategic game
Superb game! Easy to pick up and incredibly enjoyable. Art style is wonderful as well and definitely could be replayed over and over!
Straddles just the right amount between casual and strategy, though oftentimes you'll wish there was more of one when you struggle with the other. There's a good amount of content here for people who want TABS with a little more focus.
Toy Tactics is a real-time strategy game that takes the complexity of classic RTS mechanics and reshapes them into something far more approachable, creative, and chaotic. Developed by Kraken Empire and published by Joystick Ventures, the game mixes tactical warfare with physics-driven combat and a unique drawing-based command system that completely changes how players interact with the battlefield. Instead of relying on endless hotkeys, rigid unit selection, and exhausting micromanagement, Toy Tactics allows players to command entire armies simply by sketching formations and movement paths directly onto the terrain. The result is a strategy game that feels intuitive almost immediately while still offering surprising depth beneath its playful presentation. The most distinctive feature is the magical drawing mechanic used to control units. Players can instantly create formations by drawing lines, circles, wedges, or custom paths across the battlefield, allowing armies to move and position themselves accordingly. This simple idea transforms the entire pacing of combat because players spend less time wrestling with interfaces and more time focusing on tactical decisions. Large battles remain manageable even when dozens of units collide simultaneously, which helps the game avoid one of the biggest frustrations common in many RTS titles. The controls feel smooth, natural, and satisfying in a way that makes commanding armies genuinely enjoyable even for players who normally avoid strategy games. What elevates the experience beyond a simple gimmick is how well the drawing system interacts with the game’s physics engine. Battles are filled with exaggerated collisions, explosions, collapsing formations, and toy soldiers being launched across the battlefield. When cavalry charges slam into defensive lines or magical abilities scatter enemy formations, the battlefield erupts into controlled chaos that constantly remains entertaining to watch. Despite the cartoonish presentation, positioning and timing still matter heavily, and successful formations often depend on understanding how units physically interact during combat. The strategic depth becomes more noticeable as additional factions, units, and abilities are unlocked. The game features multiple armies inspired by historical and fantasy themes, including medieval knights, Roman-inspired warriors, Vikings, samurai, undead armies, pirates, and even skeletal dinosaurs. Each faction introduces unique tactical strengths and weaknesses, encouraging players to experiment with different playstyles and army compositions. Some armies focus on brute-force melee assaults, while others rely on mobility, ranged support, defensive formations, or supernatural abilities. The variety helps battles remain engaging because no single strategy dominates every situation. Magic and relic systems add another important layer of complexity. During combat, players can unleash devastating spells ranging from firestorms and lightning strikes to traps, explosions, and crowd-control abilities capable of instantly changing the outcome of battles. These powers are also controlled through the same intuitive drawing mechanics, reinforcing the game’s core design philosophy of streamlined interaction. Combining magical attacks with carefully prepared formations creates some of the game’s most exciting moments, especially during larger encounters where a single well-placed spell can completely destroy enemy lines. One of the game’s biggest strengths is how much content it offers beyond the main campaign. In addition to story missions, Toy Tactics includes challenge scenarios, sandbox battles, puzzle modes, skirmishes, cooperative play, and online multiplayer. Puzzle mode is particularly enjoyable because it isolates the game’s tactical systems into focused combat situations where players must solve encounters with limited resources and carefully planned formations. Sandbox mode also deserves praise for allowing players to create absurdly massive battles purely for experimentation and entertainment. The amount of replayability packed into the game is impressive, especially for players who enjoy testing different tactical combinations. Visually, Toy Tactics embraces a charming toybox-inspired aesthetic where miniature armies fight across oversized fantasy battlefields. The colorful art style and exaggerated animations give the game a playful personality that separates it from more serious strategy games. Despite the chaos of larger battles, the battlefield generally remains readable, allowing players to track formations, unit movement, and spell effects without becoming overwhelmed. Watching toy-like armies clash across castles, islands, forests, and fantasy landscapes gives the game a unique identity that remains consistently appealing throughout long play sessions. The soundtrack and audio design complement the atmosphere well. Epic orchestral music gives battles a dramatic sense of scale, while exaggerated sound effects reinforce the toy-inspired presentation. Explosions, weapon clashes, magical effects, and environmental destruction all contribute to the feeling that players are controlling a giant fantasy tabletop war game brought to life. The narration and voice acting also help maintain the game’s lighthearted tone without undermining the excitement of large-scale battles. Another major success is the game’s accessibility. RTS games often intimidate newcomers because of complicated controls and heavy micromanagement requirements, but Toy Tactics removes many of those barriers through its simplified command system and clear visual design. New mechanics are introduced gradually enough that inexperienced players can comfortably learn the basics before facing more demanding tactical scenarios. At the same time, experienced strategy fans still have opportunities to optimize formations, manipulate terrain advantages, and master advanced battlefield tactics. However, the game is not completely free from problems. The physics system, while entertaining, can occasionally interfere with precision strategy. Units sometimes behave unpredictably during crowded battles, causing carefully planned formations to break apart in awkward ways. Pathfinding issues occasionally appear when armies move through narrow spaces or complicated terrain, and certain units may fail to engage enemies efficiently during chaotic encounters. These moments are often amusing rather than infuriating, but they can still disrupt tactical planning during difficult missions. Pacing is another area where the game occasionally struggles. Units can move fairly slowly across larger maps, making certain missions feel longer than necessary. The fast-forward feature helps solve this problem significantly, but without it some battles would likely feel sluggish during quieter moments between major engagements. The campaign also experiences occasional difficulty spikes where enemy armies become overwhelming unless players fully understand advanced tactical mechanics. Multiplayer support is solid mechanically, but the active online player base appears relatively small. Finding competitive matches consistently can be difficult unless playing directly with friends, which slightly reduces the long-term appeal of online modes. Fortunately, the single-player content and sandbox features are extensive enough that the game still offers plenty to enjoy without relying heavily on multiplayer. For fans of real-time strategy games, creative sandbox combat, or tactical experiences that prioritize experimentation over complexity, Toy Tactics offers one of the most enjoyable and approachable RTS experiences in recent years. Its blend of clever mechanics, charming presentation, and satisfying large-scale battles makes it easy to recommend to both strategy veterans and players completely new to the genre. Rating: 8/10
