Townscaper

pretty basic. its a simple building game, it doesnt have any real customization options, all you really do is do the same exact building in different colors and they can stack, there isnt any fences, or decor options, or laying paths or stuff like that. i got the game on sale for 2 dollars so im not upset at it but i wouldnt pay for it full price, i was looking for games similar to Tiny Glade, smth small for my laptop thats not gonna run slow and this does it but it doesnt fulfill that town maker need for me. ill recommend it if its on sale, but def not for full price

I personally wasn't a fan. I got bored pretty easily. However, if you want a relaxing game with nice visuals/sounds that you can just kinda vibe to, I'd say you'll like it. For its price I'll say it's not too shabby. It's simple. I think if they added more to it, or made a similar game with more stuff, it would be a lot more fun. For me, I give this a 6/10. But I can see the appeal.

游戏内容太少了，组合非常有限，画风和音乐虽说挺治愈休闲的，但是动物只有海鸥，建玩之后当你看着空城，一股空虚感和孤独感迎面而来，我并没能从这游戏中找到成就感。这个游戏我实在游不下去，即使它的价格足够低，但是我依旧不认为这是一款值得付费游玩的游戏。作为创作性质的游戏，它缺少了你创作完成后的成就感

很治愈的游戏！画风和音效都很舒服，放大画面各种细节也在线，感觉不同性格的人搭建的小镇应该会差别很大，喜欢这个风格

What you see in the trailer is what you get. A fun sandbox zen style town builder for 6 dollars. No goals other than what you want to create.

游戏确实解压，创建自己的建筑群，多种颜色选择。但我觉得缺点就是细节不够，比如说按照建筑区域生成人物之类的。因为这个游戏里有鸟，可是生物只有鸟。生成的人物不需要多丰富。能够走动或者站在围栏旁边就行了。

Townscaper is a beautiful, clever, and very tastefully made game. It has a wonderful atmosphere, pleasant colors, charming architecture, and I completely understand why so many people experience it as relaxing. Unfortunately, for me it is almost unplayable because of the grid itself. It is neither regular enough for me to build with a sense of order, nor organic enough for me to accept it as a natural shape. It is always “almost” aligned, “almost” symmetrical, “almost” harmonious — and that creates a strange spatial uncanny valley for me. I do not see this as a flaw in the game. More as a note for people who are more sensitive to symmetry, axes, rhythm, and spatial coherence. If the irregular grid does not bother you, Townscaper can be a lovely relaxing experience. But if your mind needs a clearer sense of order, it may surprisingly end up stressing you out instead. For me, it is a beautiful game I would really like to love, but its geometry simply will not let me.

I must have consumed too much Tylenol when I bought this game on sale, this game is absolute ahh.
