Honestly I'm kinda confused. I've played up through the fourth level and haven't encountered anything resembling fun yet. You just sorta tediously drag resources around as fast as you can while enemies undo your progress every 30 seconds like clockwork. And it doesn't appear that there's anything you can do to stop the enemies either, you just have to endure two steps forward and one step back the whole time. I kept doing missions waiting for some mechanic to be introduced that flipped the game to being interesting, but it's really just an exercise in futility I guess.
Gameplay Summary
I found TowerMancer randomly when its demo came out, and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it released not long after. TowerMancer is, quite literally, a Tower Defense. Just...not in the way you're thinking. You are tasked with building a tower, sourcing the materials for each room via your mindless imps, and defending said tower from destruction. The overall goal in each mission is to meet the unique objectives (usually amount of certain rooms, enemies defeated, etc).
Personal Review
As of writing, all the negative reviews who's language I can read say that the game is either not fun or lame because you can't fight back against enemies. I can't say much about the reviewer who didn't enjoy it, since fun is subjective, but I can say that there are PLENTY of ways to fight back against enemies. Hell, the chaos of later levels in managing what defenses you have for what attacks might come your way paired with the need for momentum in building was surprisingly fun for me. The first few levels serve as an intro, but they felt weak in comparison to the demo, and as such I feel that more people would find and enjoy the game if the devs put in the demo again because they would know what their getting into. For me, this is a goal-oriented game, both in skill and room unlocks, so being able to see at least a glimpse of what you can do at higher levels can be important at driving player engagement. Or at least, it is for me. Regardless, if there's a demo: try it. If you can spare the $8: get it seriously its well worth $8. If there's a sale: why the hell are you reading this go play the game 4head. Can't wait for "what comes next" ;)

This game is neither fun nor interesting. It is an extremely frustrating experience where you are left completely clueless on what to do. Even if I was paid I wouldn't play this one more second.
I really enjoyed the demo for this, so I thought I'd enjoy the full game. But then the fricking thieves came up, and those are a PITA. There's nothing to let you fight off anything, and there's no way to make things a bit less cumbersome or to help things become more streamlined. Give us a little safe to keep a material piece safe at least. I like the idea, I really do. But this needs something to make it a little more user friendly and less of a chore. I'm not saying make it easy! I like a challenge! But this game needs some stuff to make it more user friendly and efficient. I might give it a go
So unlike several people mention, there is in fact a way to fight back when you get far enough in the game. You just have to progress to make traps. But they are single use and on a timer. The game is fun, but it's super tedious until you get there. It is still tedious later, and I think it could use a lot of work to make it better, but I enjoy it so far. It is not what I expect, but I got it on sale, which I think should be the games actual price based on how unfinished it feels. I do like the idea, and the story is kind of cool though. So that's my two cents, and I do enjoy it so I recommend it, just not for everyone because I can see the aspects people are complaining about and they do exist. TLDR If you want a challenging game, get this game. If you hate tedious repetition and get frustrated easily, don't get this game.
Really just a terrible game.
+ Pixel art (esp. awesome font) Lich designs - hilarious and adorable, alchemancer with a mushroom hat <3 Aesthetics is so nice Jokes about the Undead are my favorite Mechanics encourage you to involve in the process, which makes it a nice evolution from TD games - I think this would make an awesome mobile game, on pc all this "imp dragging" isn't that entertaining. The gameplay reminds me of tower defence, but this really isn't a TD game, and all af my instincts are screaming when my tower is inevitably collapsing. It is okay in the beginning, but later in the game it takes too much "imp dragging" to expand, protect, and repair the tower. Don't get me wrong, it is fun, but after a couple of levels my hand hurts and my heart is pounding)) Since it's a repetitive game, it would be more satisfactory to have a moment to admire your avesome tower. UPD: it gets much better after 3rd chapter!
TL;DR - Great game, worth cost, cute story, addictive. I played the Demo before the game came out. I knew it was a good game because I couldn't get it out of my head and checked almost daily to see if it was officially out yet. The full game is just as addictive as I'd hoped. I'm well versed in these types of management games and was happy that there was a good challenge for me when I wanted it. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys management games.
Doesn't support any resolution below an 1900 x 1600 for some reason, it SAYS it does, but it cuts off the sides of the screen. You know, where your imps spend most of their time collecting resources? So you can't ACTUALLY GIVE ORDERS AND DIE BECAUSE YOU CAN'T CLICK YOUR IMPS. Oh, and even if you CAN click your imps, I got hard blocked by the third level because events happen too quickly to repair, build, AND keep you from losing all your ♥♥♥♥. Call me bad at the game all you want, but when the dev only makes the game for an absolutely massive monitor and ONLY for an absolutely massive monitor, there is a problem
FPS oyunlar için mükemmel el ısıtma oyunu olduğunu düşünüyorum :D I liked the game, I think game is good. But it's story is too short. I played medium and hard levels and I think it can be longer. But game is short because of there is a second game maybe. My opinion is game is good, it can be longer and if you play the game too much time, your hand that using mouse is start paining. Game is perfect hand heating game for FPS games :D
