Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
A truly great RTS! 10/10. This is arguably the best entry in the entire Total War series. The sheer scale and variety of the factions make every campaign feel like a brand-new game. Whether you're drowning the world in a tide of Skaven or holding the line with the disciplined High Elves, the tactical depth is endless. The addition of magic, flying units, and massive monsters completely transforms the traditional Total War formula into something much more dynamic and exciting. The 'Mortal Empires' campaign (if you own the first game) is a masterpiece of grand strategy, offering hundreds of hours of gameplay on a massive scale. The graphics are detailed, the sound design of the battles is epic, and the UI is much more polished than its predecessor. Yes, there is a lot of DLC, but the base game is already packed with content that will keep you busy for a long time. If you like strategy and fantasy, this is a masterpiece. Just make sure you install it on an SSD!

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best UK #75, worst UA #100 · 9 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

El uno era la polla, el dos es como un Dildo Desctructor 3000, es la lecha en vinagre, me lo he pasado de miedo jugando, super recomendado
This is probably my favourite Total War, it is definately up there with Shogun 2, Medieval and Nopolean which were my favourites. Medieval and Napolean may have been better but TBH it was such a long time ago I can only go off the nostalgia but I enjoyed the ♥♥♥♥ out of all of them. If you value gameplay this is the Warhammer to get, if you want gold covered and diamond studded ♥♥♥♥ then get Warhammer 3.
Obsolete now due to the 3rd game. This has the same problem the 3rd game has. Horrible balancing across the board, too many DLCs priced way too high that don't offer enough gameplay to be worth it, and CA being CA and not caring about players' desires in favor of churning out slop to appease the shareholders. Don't buy or else you'll go broke getting all 3 games and the DLCs just to try to enjoy the game.

WH2 is amazing game, the best one from the fantasy series of WH. Well done CA.
The best of the three Warhammer Total War(s). It was (and IS) the peak. Great campaign, great Mortal Empires with proper Endgame Crisis (Chaos!), great DLCs, plus its finished and you can mod it to your heart's content without fear of mods and campaigns breaking. Now if only they finally removed DENUVO -.-
An amazing time killer. I love proving the A.I. wrong by turning defeats into victories. High elves is the only faction i play.
I don't know why but this game just keeps getting worse and worse. At this point I'm right clicking on enemy units while having my units selected to attack, only to have a giant red arrow point straight back to my own starting area. It's great fun watching half of my units attack my empty spawn. I bet a "improved enemy AI DLC" is in the works or something.
$580 DAMN DOLLARS FOR ALL CONTENT UNLOCKED ACROSS 3 GAMES WITH NO CROSS PLATFORM?!?! WHAT ARE YOU FOLKS SMOKING?!?!
