Unravel the fate of the ocean as you glide across an ever changing seascape in the hopes of reuniting Toroa with their family on land.
Following the winds of the Atua (Māori God) of the weather, Tāwhirimātea, Toroa will befriend creatures of the sea, meet distant relatives while flying through dream-like clouds and lush oceanic environments grounded in the Māori world.
Toroa have the largest wingspan in the world! Glide on wind currents and explore stylised landscapes, from calm seas to verdant islands and into dream-like cloudscapes.
Creatures of the sea need your help. Chat with and befriend a colourful cast from the South Pacific including dolphins, whales, penguins and more!
Trade kelp with creatures and gather birds into a flock who will follow you all the way to the end of your journey.

Nice chill flying game with great atmosphere and a lot of heart. I really liked the music and the art for all the animals is really expressive. Also neat to see the Māori cultural references - as an Aussie who doesn't know too much about our neighbours, I feel like I learned something.
I backed this game on Kickstarter and was super excited to dive in! Just rolled credits on Steam Deck, and what a lovely ride. T_T <3 Hopeful, silly, joyful, meditative, and at times bittersweet. Toroa Skycall does a beautiful job of juxtaposing the natural world with the relationships we carry with friends and family through its heartfelt te Ao Māori perspective. I particularly enjoyed the use of te reo Māori kupu (words) and symbolism - all used in ways that the unfamiliar can infer the meaning of, and giving vibrancy to this uniquely Aotearoa New Zealand setting. Also: how cool is it to get to start the game with a karakia (traditional blessing)!? Lots of aroha to Atwahai Interactive - love your mahi here, and thank you for sharing it with us. <3

ICONIQUE GAME! FEELS REALLY REALLY GOOD TO FLY AROUND IN! The music is great and the overall experience is sooooo atmospheric and smooth, but also fun and silly. It's a whole vibe and a really lush world to just explore! Lovinggg the te ao Māori content, which is v. well-integrated throughout all aspects of the game: graphically, narratively and sonically. Advice for those with bad PCs: definitely use a controller for best experience, and if you have a low-end PC turn down some settings to keep the flying feeling nice and tiiight!!!
