Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Dommage que ce nouveau patch ait réduit a médiocre la qualité de ces jeux pourtant légendaires
(Mostly copied and pasted with minor edits from my IV, V, and VI, remaster trilogy review. I will not be giving this first trilogy of remasters a positive review until they fix the outfit swapping bug. It's unacceptable, and I'm assuming it would be so easy to correct. It's a shame that the most accessible way to play these games may have new players in the wrong outfits for a first playthrough.) I'm not going to be reviewing the games themselves but rather if you should get the remasters or not. Are these good remasters? Yes, yes they are pretty good. Are they perfect? No, absolutely not. Am I glad they exist? Yes, absolutely. I'm glad the games are so accessible now for consoles and new players. My main issue is that the lighting and atmosphere has been changed drastically in most areas, losing the atmosphere almost entirely. Some areas look SO much better, and a lot of areas do not. Some textures just reek of AI upscaling also, which isn't necessarily a problem. It's not like they straight up generated new ones, at least I hope not. But it just gets surreal and strange to look at, although they admittedly did better with this in the next trilogy. These games are too iconic to just rely on AI to upscale things for you and call it a remaster, not that I don't think a lot of hard work went into these, because it did. It's still disappointing. I mostly played with the old graphics to get the original experience, switching frequently to see how things were updated. If this was a remake I wouldn't care as much, but they're remasters. It's not acceptable to change intentional lighting so much imo, especially when it makes some items too easy to see and some too hard to see. It really comes down to a few questions: Are you okay with the original block based platforming and controls? Are you okay with the original (beautiful imo) pixelated art style? Do you want to experience the original atmosphere and lighting? Are you okay with downloading external programs and source ports? If you answered yes to any or most of these I would recommend getting the original games and downloading TRX, which was created by very talented fans. It's more work but it's certainly cheaper, and it's a lot more consistent. For me personally, I'm a bit disappointed. The remasters don't do anything that I would miss if I went to play one of the original games instead. In fact TRX has even more options, including 60fps for the original graphics and PS1 style menus and sound effects if you grew up with those.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Warning to anyone thinking of buying this game don't waste your money thanks to the last patch it is so broken it is unplayable the music is broken main menu music does not cut out during loading screens or when starting a level for example venice level on TR2 lara's home TR3 FMV sequence in lara's home in TR1 no longer plays not to mention i'm hearing game crashing save files getting corrupted and so many bugs that ruin this game 😤😤😤🤬 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
they call this a remaster..
The original developers of the remaster are no longer involved with this and a new update was just released that broke the game. It's now filled with bugs like traps that don't do damage, broken textures, title music that doesn't stop playing, etc. There is no older version available in the beta branches, so if you want to play these games I'd recommend getting them somewhere else without this disastrous update. Edit: Someone found a way to roll back to a previous version using the Steam console, guide here: https://www.speedrun.com/tr123_remastered/guides/dipw4 Though if you don't want to jump through hoops to play without the bugged update it's still better to get these games somewhere else.
Yikes, why do you have to ruin my Lara with slop...
Worthless patch that messed up a near perfect remaster.
Sortir une nouvelle mise à jour que personne n'a demandée juste pour ajouter des skins moches générés par IA, sérieux ?
Han roto el juego con la última actualización...
The new challenge mode update completely broke my existing saves and I can't finish the game. Poor quality additions and now it's affecting my ability to enjoy the base game.
