Solid TD that was different enough to hold my attention for a while. The little hero characters instead of traps are pretty charming, graphics are cute, musics catchy... Good build variety and the randomization feels pretty fair. Good game
Sehr gut!

Visual clarity needs some work, but this is otherwise a fantastic mashup of mazing tower defense with auto-battling. Enjoyable mix of classes, buffs, and synergistic skills. Great buy.
Nepřehledný, ve hře se těžko orientuje.. Debilita.
good one
A unique and underappreciated tower defense game
Tiny Tactics — ★⯨☆☆☆ 1.5 / 5 Tiny Tactics is not a good tower defense game. It uses paths, units and mazing, but the real game is opaque card RNG, unclear synergies and inconsistent unit scaling. I paid 0.81 € at a 90% discount and still cannot recommend it. Overview

[th]Category[/th] [th]Rating[/th] [th]Category[/th] [th]Rating[/th]

Gameplay / Mechanics ★☆☆☆☆ 1.0 / 5 Opaque systems with no clear strategy Content / Variety ★★☆☆☆ 2.0 / 5 Many units, but repetitive maze logic

Challenge / Balance ★☆☆☆☆ 1.0 / 5 Mostly rolling luck, not fair challenge Technical State ★★★★★ 5.0 / 5 No technical issues during my playtime

Price / Value ★★★★☆ 4.0 / 5 Very cheap, but still frustrating Overall ★⯨☆☆☆ 1.5 / 5 Not TD strategy, mostly RNG fog

The core problem Tiny Tactics looks like tower defense, but it does not give me what I expect from tower defense: readable towers, readable enemy pressure, readable counters and a clear link between decision and result. Instead, the game throws units, synergies, fusions, icons and card rolls at me. That could work, but only if the systems were transparent. They are not. I often could not tell what was actually strong before buying or placing it. A higher-tier unit was not automatically better than a lower-tier unit. Fusion value was unclear. Slow effects were barely readable. Synergies were supposed to matter, but often felt weaker than simply rolling one absurd named unit. Why it fails for me The game does not feel hard in a good way. It feels unclear. I do not mind losing. I mind losing without understanding what I should have done differently. Worse: I also had wins where I could not clearly explain why I won, except that one card scaled much harder than everything else. That is not satisfying strategy. That is post-match interpretation. The mazing also becomes repetitive quickly. In practice, I mostly built some version of one long U-shaped path. That is a basic structure, not enough tactical depth to carry the game. What works Technically, the game ran fine. I had no crashes, no serious bugs and no performance problems. The price was also extremely low. I played 9.2 hours for 0.81 €, so the raw price-to-time ratio is good. But cheap does not fix the core loop. Conclusion Tiny Tactics has too many systems and not enough clarity. It wants to be tactical, but too often feels like rolling until something works. The last visible Steam update in my activity view was from January 2023, so I would not expect these design problems to be meaningfully improved anymore. Not recommended.
its a nice tower defence game, not that easy
