A cute cozy sim about running a little bookshop. The townsfolk are charming and the story is lovely.
The most relaxing game ever created.
Very calm and cosy, little pressure, can read a book or doom scroll whilst playing if you want, or just chill and watch people go in and out of your bookstore. There are objectives, and good background music, the mechanic for trying to recommend books is fun. It isn't about keeping you entertained with the next new thing, its the same mechanics going along, calmly through a seaside story. I hope they expand it with new places and book genres. Making money can be slow, but the point is that this game isnt fast paced. Good things take time, with little cute rewards along the way.

I have been seeing amazing reviews of this game since it came out, and I simply kept pushing it off to play later. I feel like maybe did that for a reason, because I need this game right now to cope with my mental health issues. This game is so wholesome, beautifully designed, meaningful, creative, and just such an amazing way to relax, while also appreciating REAL books!! The story in this game as well is very charming and adds to the gameplay that much more. This is the perfect relaxing game for any mood, but especially when you are struggling to cope with the stress/anxiety that is the current state of the world. Instead of having a nervous breakdown one night, I decided to play this and it genuinely is bettering my life. Thank you so much to the developers for creating this little cozy piece of magic <3
