very good
the writing will make you tip your hat in respect and even the occasional typo or missing quote isn't law-breaking (Persuasion greatly increased, Law slightly increased) 0/10 you can't romance that one lady's uncle, don't buy (Wealth increased) just kidding of course, i'd recommend it, you can have a lot of fun, and there's high replayability, so feel free to buy it (Wealth slightly decreased)
It's like one of those classic western film, but in a text format and you make some of the decisions

I have to say, i am a bit disappointed by this game, but not enough to not recommend it. It delivers on its premise, but is by no means surprising. If you want a western game with you as the sherif, all the characters you expect in a western (besides a showgirl) and have western adventure, then this game is perfect. However, nothing here is surprising. The story and characters are good, the twist well executed, the player has a lot od choices and roleplaying freedom and the statmanagment is decent enough (one or two time it seems somewhat nonsensial, but that are isolated incidents). But you can always kind of see what is coming, as the game doesnt do anything new, besides beeing a bit more grounded in reality than the classic western. Even the overcharging villian and story is just not surprising or in any way unique. But that beeing said, it is an exellent choice of games game. You just have to live with a few cliches.
Nice Classical Western story about land, water, cattle, general law and order and about struggle for survival in a remote place. I like the fact that story does not focus on one particular enemy or some kind of revenge, which are staples for the Spaghetti Westerns, the other kind of Western. Story has lot of choices and protagonist can choose to be, from very good to very bad person. I have discovered three romance options but may be others are also there. Story line is realistic and i was always aware that my player character is vulnerable and can be dead like the predecessors anytime and nobody would bother about it, in the town or anywhere else. Hence, even though i had kept gun fighting skills high during player character customisation, in the start of the game, i felt that the skill that helped me most was persuasion. Due to the variety of player character customisation and choices in the game and the story, it is possible to have multiple play through without getting bored. I had read reviews on the store page before the purchase and the game stand up, to its reputation.
Best interactive fiction game ever! While also being engaging, emotional and entertaining, it also has some inclusions that make it one of the smoothest and least frustrating interactive fiction games I've played. If you die it asks you if you want to go back to one of four checkpoints, instead of just completely ending the game there. I also really loved the ending of how you can see all the characters lives play out after the ending (Kevin the blacksmith!! I'm so sorry i didn't stop in to see you everyday :( ). Sometimes you could tell that your actions may have made you skip over something that was important to the lore. I often found myself a little confused why everyone else seemed fine with a revelation I just found out. There isn't a lot of romancing included. However I didn't go down that path with the one character I did find a romance path for, cause I was waiting to see if there were more romance-able characters, so I cannot speak to the romance of it. I would love to play this game again one day and go down the romance path, but I also loved the way my game ended and am quite content with it. I became very invested in every characters life and would be terrified that one of them would die due to my actions (thankfully they didn't). I also found that, unlike other interactive fiction games (looking at you siege of Treboulain), actions relating to skills aren't a fail or pass system. There were degrees of success and failure which allowed you to choose actions you felt were justified for the circumstance rather than just what your character was maxed out on. My character was horrible at brawling yet still was able to survive fights because I chose actions that I felt would work, I didn't destroy the other characters or anything but there were layers to an actions and subsequent actions that could back up your choice. I also LOVED that you had multiple chances to roam around the town. I would have liked to been able to interact with the main characters more in this section but that is truly a very small detail I'm only thinking about know. Anyway, I loved this one and I'm sure you will too!
A very enjoyable story choice game . I'd say Tin Star and choice of Robots are worth its asking price. a certain whisky bar person still sticks with me . ^^ If you are a fan of wild wast of any kind , pick this up.
Поиграв игру я убедился что Дикий Запад не мой сэттинг( Вот совсем не вкатывает.
Amazing game with a creative layout and a rich story! I wish it had controller support, because it's hard to want to play this game sitting at a desk at home, after sitting at a desk all day with chronic pain. And I eye it hungrily in my Steam library, but never really seem to come back to it because I'd prefer to play with a controller while laying in bed.
One of the BEST cyoa games!
