Time to golf is a foddian game with control that are fairly easy to learn, but hard to master for the speedrun achievement. There is also a few way to use the control which can be hard to find out or non intuitive but it gives it more personality. The map is fairly punishing, but the fact that the map is very short compensate for it The game has multiplayer where you can see other people, and has achievement, some grindy, and some really hard skill wise.
This game made me hate apple.
its a great game but annoying at the same time. buy it totally worth.
Time to GOLF, developed and published by nattuhan, is a small-scale indie title that takes the familiar idea of golf and transforms it into a physics-driven climbing challenge. Rather than simulating realistic fairways, sand traps, and tournament structures, the game reimagines golf as a tool for vertical traversal. You are not simply trying to sink a ball into a hole; instead, you use that ball to scale colorful mountains and unpredictable terrain. The result is a quirky hybrid of sports mechanics and physics-based platforming that feels more like a skill challenge than a traditional golf game. The core mechanic is elegantly simple. When your character is grounded or pressed against a surface, you pull back and aim to launch the golf ball in a chosen direction. The force and angle determine how far and how effectively you propel yourself upward. Timing and precision become essential, as a poorly calculated shot can send you sliding down a slope or tumbling off a ledge. The game’s physics encourage experimentation, and small adjustments in angle or power can drastically change outcomes. This creates a satisfying loop of trial, error, and gradual mastery. Rather than presenting a structured narrative or campaign, Time to GOLF focuses on incremental progress and self-improvement. Each climb becomes a test of your ability to adapt to terrain shapes, slopes, and environmental obstacles. The design leans heavily into momentum and spatial awareness, asking players to understand how surfaces interact with the ball’s trajectory. The absence of handholding or complex tutorials reinforces its minimalist ethos, letting players learn through repeated attempts. The level design is playful and often unpredictable. Mountains are filled with irregular surfaces, moving elements, and environmental quirks that challenge consistency. While this unpredictability can sometimes feel punishing, it also fuels the game’s addictive quality. Each failed ascent invites another attempt, as players refine their approach and develop better control over angles and timing. The frustration that occasionally arises is balanced by the satisfaction of finally conquering a difficult stretch of terrain. Visually, the game adopts a bright and colorful aesthetic that emphasizes charm over realism. Environments are stylized rather than detailed, using bold colors and simple shapes to create a clean and readable landscape. This visual clarity supports gameplay, ensuring that slopes and surfaces are easy to interpret. The lighthearted presentation helps offset the potential frustration of repeated falls, maintaining an overall playful tone even during challenging sequences. The inclusion of leaderboards and achievements adds a competitive dimension. Players can measure their performance against others, striving for faster climb times or more efficient routes. This feature enhances replay value, particularly for those who enjoy optimizing mechanics and shaving seconds off their best attempts. While the core gameplay loop remains consistent, the pursuit of better results provides ongoing motivation. Despite its strengths, Time to GOLF is undeniably limited in scope. It does not offer expansive content, varied modes, or deep customization systems. Its appeal lies in the purity of its mechanic rather than in layered progression. Some players may find that once the novelty wears off, the repetition becomes apparent. However, for those who appreciate focused design and physics-based challenges, the simplicity becomes a strength rather than a weakness. Ultimately, Time to GOLF stands as a creative indie experiment that turns a familiar sport into a vertical climbing puzzle. Its straightforward controls, responsive physics, and playful presentation create a compact but engaging experience. While it may not satisfy players seeking traditional golf simulation or expansive gameplay systems, it delivers a distinctive and often addictive challenge built around precision and persistence. For fans of unconventional physics-based games, it offers a light yet rewarding ascent worth attempting. Rating: 7/10
