Hidden Cats: Magic Forest

The game is very nice but the developers should fix various problems with the achievements and the counting of the various cats and plants. For example, in the first game I had 50 plants to find and the count remained fixed without ever going down. In the second batch there were 20 plants and although I found them all the count was still at 1. Overall rating 7/10

[h3] И когда я уже обошла всю карту десять раз с тормозящей камерой, я психанула и перезашла в игру, после чего счетчик ростков заработал, ПОЯВИЛИСЬ НОВЫЕ РОСТКИ и недостающие ДВА КОСТРА, вот чудеса! ㅤ [i]На нейтральный отзыв игра не тянет! I'm glad the developer is called "Bugy Games", at least we know what we're going for : Bugging games for your non entertainment. This game has very cluncky controls, needs you to restart more than once to get all the achievements and manages to have even less agreeable explanations regarding them, leaving you clicking everywhere and wondering what popped that one achievement you were missing. Not only this game is clowning on you, but it also has the nice feature to have cats appearing and disappearing randomly to the point you feel like you are drunk on water because how could you have missed that cat, alone, in the middle of the field, without anything around it ? The best way to "play" that "game" means that you will have to abandon all idea of fun and your best bet is to check an area surrounding a fire camp and then go to the next area, etc. once done, return to the first camp and do it again. I do not know if the fact the camp is lit or not have an effect, but this game sure dug a grave for my brain before stomping on it. I made a guide to save the poor souls who decided to not heed my warning. You're allowed to worship me for being so kind towards you. [h1]I'VE GOT SOME TIPS TO HELP YOU FIGURE OUT THE GAME & EARN ALL ACHIEVEMENTS[/h1] This is a fantastic game, but unfortunately, there isn't much information about the features and gameplay. I eventually earned all the achievements once I figured out how the game works, so I want to pass them along so no one gives up on this incredible game.   The biggest hurdle is with the rotation feature. If you have played any of the Hidden Paws games, you're already familiar with how to rotate the scene. If you haven't played those games, take a deep breath and do a test spin, so to speak.   [b]ROTATION FEATURE[/b]  Right-click and hold while moving the mouse left or right. If you get stuck, keep rotating until it lets you zoom out and drag the scene. If you get close to the rocks, they will appear huge and block your vision. Just keep rotating and zooming out...TIP: all the cats are within the beautiful scenery; none of the cats are located on or beyond the rocks that encase the scene.   [b]CAT ICON COUNTER[/b]  There are 50 Black Cats, 50 Grey Cats, 50 Orange Cats, and 50 Stumps shown at the bottom of the screen. When you click on a Cat, a balloon will attach to the cat, and it will float upward. The counter will not reflect this until the cat floats off the screen. [b]Balloon Hunter Achievement[/b][spoiler]To earn this achievement, you will have to pop the balloon of a handful of cats (I popped the balloon of the first cat I found until the achievement was earned. When you pop a balloon, the cat will go back to the ground and have a broken heart above him, click him again, and the balloon will take him to freedom.[/spoiler]  [b]Flying Leaves Achievement[/b][spoiler]A few of the cats are hidden in trees, and the only way to find them is to shake a few trees and make the leaves fly out, and the cat will jump to the ground When you find all the cats hidden in trees, you will earn this achievement.[/spoiler]  [b]Queen of Cats Achievements[/b][spoiler]When you find the majority of cats, a black cat appears in the center of the scene, sitting on the top center of a stone arch. On the ground below her, there is a stone slab that you must click several times (on the left side when facing her) You'll earn the achievement, and she will tell you where the last remaining cats are located. Just search the scene and look for cat face emojis floating up.[/spoiler]  [b]STUMPS[/b]   You'll also be tasked with finding & removing 50 Stumps, most of which are located in the swamp area. After removing all 50 Stumps, the Tree Stump icon changes to a Sapling icon, and several Saplings will appear throughout the scene. (they have a green ring around them) Just click on all the saplings to replant trees.   Remember that the scene must be rotated to find cats behind trees, bushes, rocks, and other nooks and crannies. Click on random objects, dip a toe or two in the water, and have fun exploring! I mostly play 2D Hidden Object games with cats. They are my favorite past time. This game is not my usual cup of tea and that's okay, because I like exploring. What I like about it is that the exploration has been fixed. You can now rotate the world by holding right-click, select with left-click and move wih WASD. In a 3D brightly colored forest, we have to find black, red and grey cats along with different forest items (like barks, seedlings, fire camps, etc.) There is no hint whatsoever, so we have to do a lot of exploring. Attention: the items are hid behind trees, rocks. Sometimes you have to click the trees to make the cats fall down from there. PROS: - Brightly colored 3D world with gummy-looking cats; - 3D Hidden Object with cats; - Several looping nice music songs; - Several items to find and collect; - Lots of interesting achievements. CONS: - A hint button is required; - Nothing else. All in all, an interesting experience. Hope to see improvements to the game and some others that will feature other type of animals in different environments. (I just thought of dogs in a big city.) Anyways, I recommend it to all HO fans.

Ein interessantes Hidden Spiel. Wir haben hier ein kleines Stück Wald wo wir 3 niedliche Katzenarten suchen müssen (je 50). Abgesehen davon gibt es noch ein paar Extras die wir suchen / machen können - eine Liste findet ihr in dem ihr ESC drückt. Wir können hier die Kammera links rechst drehen und rein und raus zoomen. Das kann auch der schwierige Part in dem Spiel sein xD Es ist so voll mit Bäumen usw. das es zum Ende hin doch recht schwer sein kann die letzten Kätzchen zu finden. Alles im ganzen erfrischend mal so zu suchen.^^

Cute concept but poorly executed. The controls are terrible; the constant spinning around the map to find numerous cats is nauseating. For someone who has motion sickness, vertigo, or a combination of both, this game will trigger it. Even if you are careful with how you navigate through the map, the controls are so janky. In addition, this game has many bugs that were quite annoying. 1) I had to keep opening and closing the game to update the number on the bottom of the screen for the amount of sprouts/trees. 2) The Queen Cat did not appear in my first play through - had to replay the game to get The Queen Cat to appear on the ruins. 3) When you click to shift your vision around the map, it often would not allow you. This is just to name a few. Overall, this game is visually pleasing and has a very cute concept but needs improvement in many areas.

It's really cheap so we cant complain right? Well the controls are buggy AF!!! You either rotate around your mouse, perfect. OR you rotate at a way bigger center, not so great because it'll move where you are aswell. OR you rotate and then you cant move left and right anymore. Also counters dont work, so you dont progress towards your achievements. The music is LOUD, and cuts songs short at random starting a new one. It's sad cuz it looks very pretty, but thats about it :/

Jogo bem bugado e frustrante. Controles ruins e objetivos não claros. Falta bastante polimento para o game, apesar da ideia ser interessante.
