Not having labels on the shelves and being able to split things between shelves and still count that as "organized" is an emphatic no for me.
I'm a fan of this game for sure. It's definitely more difficult than supermarket chaos and librarian. I played it before the label update was added and that was a massive challenge, but I absolutely enjoyed the puzzle aspect of the game. There's some small bugs, especially when there wasn't the label update, but once that happened, I only ran into one bug on the last level where 4 items didn't fit anywhere, but that didn't stop me from the satisfaction of finally finishing it. Looking forward to if there is a Tidy Mart pt 2!

I'm glad I waited to give this game a review. Initially i loved the art style and atmosphere and had a fun time organizing the first two stores. When I got to the third store though, not having any indication of where things went got a little overwhelming. I put the game down and to my surprise the devs updated the game with product tags in the levels that very night! Big kudos to the devs for listening to player feedback and quickly implementing a fix! Can confidently recommend this game now!
English Review - Tidy Mart Deserves More Love
First of all, Tidy Mart has never lied about what it offers. The game is very clear about its concept, and yet I still see quite a few people complaining about mechanics that are actually part of what makes the game interesting. Yes, the game has bugs. But I am genuinely glad people have reported them, and even more glad that the developers have been listening and fixing them.
“The game doesn't indicate the products”
Yes, it doesn't, and honestly, I don't think it needs to. That's part of the puzzle. The game gives you information about how many items you have, and you can use that information to figure out how much space they will occupy. It encourages you to think instead of simply giving you every answer.
“The controls are clunky”
Nah... I honestly don't understand this criticism. You pick up an item, throw it on the ground, place it on a shelf, and take it from the shelf when you need it. You have three different heights to work with. Everything is simple and easy to understand. There is nothing particularly complicated about the controls.
One thing the developers should consider
The basket movement might cause motion sickness for some players. I personally didn't notice it at first, but after thinking about it, I can understand why the constant movement could affect people who experience motion sickness from first person movement in games. Having an option to reduce or disable that movement in the settings could make the experience more comfortable.
Accessibility and colors
The game also relies on several colors, including red, green, blue, yellow, and some brown tones. This could potentially be difficult for players with color vision deficiency. Also, the game has some visual indicators like patterns. So its good. Tho an optional colorblind mode could make the game more accessible without changing its core design.
Why I like Tidy Mart
This is actually what attracted me to Tidy Mart compared to other games in the same genre. I don't want skills. I don't want powers. I don't want complicated progression systems. Sometimes I just want to relax and organize things. And somehow, people are complaining that the game is frustrating because you have to... Organize things. The game is literally about organizing things. That's honestly fascinating to me. It really shows how differently players approach games and what they expect from them. Tidy Mart knows what it wants to be, and I think that's one of its biggest strengths. It is simple, relaxing, satisfying, and occasionally chaotic in exactly the way a game like this should be. This game deserves more love. Thank developers around the globe for listening to the community (not all of them cof cof haters) and continuing to fix the bugs. ❤️

PT-BR Review - Tidy Mart Merece Mais Amor
I think its cute and I hope they update it, but the lack of clarity on where to put things just makes it annoying to play right now.
I have to say, I read the poor reviews on release, and I kept this game on my radar anyway. Today I took the dive and got it, and well I'm loving it!! I've played my fair share of these new organising games, and this one brings some refreshing new mechanics to the genre. I love the basket idea! removing the limited inventory/upgrades, and instead making it so that different items fit in the basket in differing ways has been so fun, and brings its own added challenge too. The addition of shelf labels was definitely a good choice, as I cannot imagine the struggle early players must have faced. although I feel adding signage above specific areas for extra guidance could be a nice touch, for example "Meats" "pet food" "laundry" and such Not having to worry about constant skill upgrades is refreshing too, and the graphics are so cute and cozy.
I've played a LOT of tidy up games. And this one just doesn't measure up to any of it's competition. The market is currently saturated with tidy up games with everyone jumping on the bandwagon and there are just simply too many out there that do it so much better. In fact the game it's bundled with, Tidy Up Together is one I've already sunk nearly seven hours into. The placement system is difficult and I found it hard to place them where I was trying to. Just overall frustrating.
