Fajna, krótka przygodówka w stylu retro.
Buen juego pero meh
Just okay. Super short.
super cute game with lots of humor to go along with the point n click, puzzle-y fun.
Broken achievements, which isn't a huge deal. But not fixing it in over three years is.
why the hell that broken update from 2021
A cute, brief game which feels like a mix of "King's Quest" and "Willy Beamish." Old school vibes aplenty, worth every cent I paid.
7/10
With the loss of Spiderweb Software and buyout of Lucas Arts by the Rat, the early 2000s felt like the final death knell for classic adventure games in a long, slow descent caused by the travesty that was Myst. But there are still a few companies out there who have picked up the mantle and continue to bring us great adventure games. Tick is a young boy who's decided to fulfil an ancient prophecy and become a knight so that he can make the girl of his dreams, Georgia McGorgeous, fall in love with him. At around 1-2 hours of gameplay, it's not the longest adventure out there, but it has a nostalgic feel that really sets it apart. Tick's Tales brings back the feel of Sierra and Lucas Arts during the height of their success in a short but satisfying romp. If you grew up in the 1980s and '90s, nothing else needs to be said. However, for younger audiences, this is an early 1990s-style point-and-click adventure game with tongue-in-cheek humour and some intentional fourth-wall breaking. The puzzles aren't necessarily difficult, but they do make you think outside the box. It even includes a MIDI-style soundtrack (ask your parents)! The developer has plans to port the game to mobile devices and has been working on adding some new content to the PC version. However, two new achievements accidentally became public at the beginning of 2021, leading to pretty much all of the negative reviews you'll find regarding this game. That said, if you want a great adventure game in the same style as the long-lost Lucas Arts and Sierra masterpieces, this game is well worth the cost (especially if you can grab it on sale or in a bundle with The Last Door). But if you only care about mining achievements and not actually enjoying a game, you're going to want to give the game a pass.
