Monkey Island humor meets King's Quest asthetics. All while boasting a modern interface found in today's adventure games. A really fun game by a new developer. Length and price are well matched.
Achievement Hunters beware
Big fan of Point and Click and really loved the retro look. Game was easy enough to get 100% achievements at the time. Developer decided to add 2 more achievements over 8 months ago and they have yet to be obtainable. As an achievement hunter this type of thing I do not find acceptable. It is fine to add achievements after some time but, only if people are able to get them and not as a placeholder of sorts. Because I am an achievement hunter I do not recommend starting this one if achievements are your goal. I will update my review if achievements are removed and/or obtainable.
A simplified point and click game good for a few laughs. Some of the puzzles are a little out of the box. Overall, a game that never takes itself too seriously, but never breaks out on its own either. Two new achievements were added at the start of 2021 for the upcoming v2.0 release. 8 months later and still no patch has been released and No communication from devs to players I would not recommend this game or buy anything from this dev, because they seem to do not care at all about their games or customers.
Game is interesting, however for some years the developer Digital Bounce House added two new achievements without releasing a new update in the game. The achievements are broken and cannot be unlocked, and even though they promised they would make a new release. after two years nothing. Don't trust developers like these, Digital Bounce House. Never in my life have i heard of a game adding new achievements without releasing a new update for the game, then lying to customer in the forums for years.
A fun game if you like traditional point-n-click adventures. Haven't finished the game myself yet, but I will say it's well worth the small price it has. I haven't run into any ridiculously difficult puzzles yet, and I'm quite enjoying the humour in the game.
The game is not complete nor is likely to ever be. Developer added two new achievements over two years ago and they are not active. Life happens however two years to enable achievements or remove them is beyond reasonable. Avoid this game and do not purchase it until they developer can provide the minimum accountability that we all should expect.
Tick's Tale: Up all Knight is retro-esque light and fun point & click adventure following Tick, a young man on a knight's errand.
For a more in-depth review please visit us on
Feed me Pixels
Pros:

Humorous
Easy to play
Modest price
Runs on Mac as well as PC
Well-written story: enjoyable plot, standout characters
Very coherent and well put together final product

Cons:

Short
The replay-ability of the game is low
Sound track is not as good as the other game elements
I highly recommend Tick's Tale to all point & click fans.
The overall gameplay is really nice but unfortently the developers have abaonded the game to work on mobile games instead in 2021 they gave us a HUGE cliff hanger claiming there will be a next version/update to be released soon and nothing ever since. It is really sad to see the developers have taken this path but it is what it is.
Tick's Tales is a point & click adventure with cool pixel art and funny dialog. I just finished it and have to say that I really enjoyed it. The puzzles are neither too hard nor too easy, interesting story, good sound effects & soundtrack and really awesome pixel art. Some people find it short, it took me around 5 hours (without guide or walk-through) to finish it, but for me the length of the game is just about right. Maybe the only thing that this game is lacking is voice acting. If you are a fan of point & click adventures, you should definitely buy it and if you aren't fan of this kind of games, give it a try, maybe it will surprise you :)
