I think its a cute little game, though I personally wouldn't spend 16 Euros for it as this is not the kind of game I would sit down to play an evening long, but rater pick up during my break time to have some quick short-time fun from time to time. Sure, the game has some limitations, but for what it wants to do, I think it does perfectly. If you look at any of the videos up there and think to yourself "this might be fun" - then it's almost certainly for you. Keep in mind it doesn't have a story or anything like it. Its a dexterity game in its core and that's what you must be looking for, but if it is, you can't really go wrong.
I have to say that this game was amazing to play. I kept thinking of not only Lunar Lander but other games that had cloned it too. But this one though was better than the clones that I've played before. I love how compared to a lot of games nowadays, this one takes time and patience to get through each level, especially if you are trying to not die as well as collect all the cores in the level. Pros +: - Visually captivating - Variety of ships to choose from - Lots of challenging levels as well as worlds - No forced "Collect All" option which is wonderful - And so much more! Cons -: - Not really a huuge issue but I think $18.99 is a bit too much for a game like this, but I understand that you want to be rewarded for your hardwork and effort that was put into the game too So in closing, despite how much this costs, I think it's worth playing. The visuals are wonderful as well as the music. Final Score: 8.5/10
I was lucky to get a copy of Thrusty Ship during the pre-release. This game is so addictive, exciting, fustrating, confounding, and exhilerating. If you want a game that taxes your brain and your reflexes then you need Thrusty Ship. I was asked if I liked this game enough to run outside of my house down the street shouting at strangers to buy Thrusty Ship, not only did I do that but I forgot to put my shoes on first! You will spend many hours swearing at this game, cursing the developer (just 1 guy made this game) but each time you complete alevel you feel like you have just beaten the world! (lol Steam is bugged, says less than 3 hours played. I played this on stream until 5am too often, so no idea why Steam is not updated).
Incredibly fun game, plenty of levels (that I unfortunately haven't gotten around to unlocking yet), with more on the way, controls can be a little bit tough to adapt to, which is just due to the type of game it is, I personally got rather hooked on the time trial mode and competing with a friend of mine, would definitely recommend picking this up
Thrusty ship is a rewarding and tough venture!! It's simplicity is beautiful along with the progression of knowledge from level to level. Levels become progressively more difficult, but the game does a quality job continually teaching the gamer. Graphics are all exceptional, and the overall feel of the gameplay is very smooth. Overall, I'd highly recommend this game to others. It has a little bit of everything from those looking for casual gameplay to those looking for a challenge (time trial). I only played (tested) this game for an hour and was highly interested the entire time. Definitely would be worth the money and time to try it out!
Good game! It's not an easy game, so you will not finish it in 1 hour
