I've wanted to play this game for a while, I bought it today. I just spent 2+ hours in the level-editor making an awesome labyrinth. I have only played about 5 of the World One levels because I was so eager to make a level. I love level editors and this one is easy to use and robust! Game Mechanics and performance 10/10: Fun mechanics, purposefully hard to steer. Many different mechanics that can work together to create some insane moments. Buttclencher to say the least. Level Editor is 10/10: Lets you use all in-game objects, such as warp-holes, blackholes, switches/doors, lasers, etc. No explicit max size of level area. Steam Workshop integration! FUN FACTOR: 9/10! Nothing more to say really! Overall: Recommended for anyone who likes playing around in level editors and anyone who likes HARD platforming and puzzling! TOTAL SCORE: 9/10. Because even without explicit max size when you make the level 10 times larger than the viewport it can start lagging out a bit. Don't make your own levels gigantic squared basically haha
This is just a first impressions review coming from my first 2 hours of gameplay . The majority of my time with the game I did enjoy myself. I( got through the first world of the game and into a few stages from the second world. The levels are set up so that as you complete areas you learn new and more complex skills to complete higher more difficult levels. That is a great way to design the game. It avoids the need for a formal tutorial in the game. you just learn as you go and get better as you complete stages. the challenge level is high in this game however it is not unfair. when i died in the game i knew it was my lack of skills in the game that were causing my death. The UI in the game is clean and easy to use. one suggestion would be to just make the buttons larger and easy to read. in the version I played there was a slant to the look of the buttons that made them hard for me to read. Sound effects in the game are great. love the sound when the ship hits a piece of scrap and the death explosion is great. I saw that explosion quite a lot so i am glad that it is good. There is quite a lot of content in this game, I was nowhere close to doing the stages at 100%. would take some great skill to do that. this is normally not my type of game but I did really start to have fun with it when the levels got more complex and I had to think and do more complex flying to get through the levels. this is definately worth your time and a pick up at full price or on sale.
This game is a game that will test your patience, which I luckily had a lot of! I was given the game on stream and gave it a shot on stream, honestly it may have been one of the most unique games I've played and streamed, it's not something I'm used to. But I think this is definitely worth a shot for anyone that wants to test their patience and how fast they can process how to get through the levels! The controls are really good and simple, easy to learn, the game runs smooth. There's new mechanics getting introduced throughout the levels, and it's just a great fun time! The game has a level editor where you can create, test and upload levels to workshop and let people try out your maps! It's a speedrunnable game and a perfectionist game just like described, and I recommend as many as possible to try this game out!
When I first saw this game I was unsure if it would hold my interest for more than an hour, but I was wrong. This game offers tight controls and genuinely feels good to play. Maneuvering your ship takes a while to master but with practice you will be able to pull off some fancy flying which feels rewarding. There are a lot of levels, 72 on release, with interesting mechanics and level design to keep anyone hooked for hours. The game is very difficult and I personally have called the developer words that I will not repeat. All in all it is a well polished and unique game that I would recommend to anyone interested in platformers.
Suprisingly fun! Easy to play, hard to master! also very addictive! Deffo one to pick up!!
I was given the opportunity to try the game out before its initial release and can say that its a great game. The game starts off pretty simple, but introduces many mechanics which makes things very interesting. There are different ships that you can unlock in game, and each ship is going to take a bit of time to master. There are 72 levels for this game, and upon completing each level you get a time trial mode which has a leaderboard. This game gets pretty difficult later on. Eventually through my playthrough, I gave up trying to 100% each level just because I would rather finish the stage and move on. This game is worth a purchase!
A frustrating, but satisfying game. Thrusty Ship's controls feel rewarding when you start to get the hang of things (which may take an hour). This game would drive a completionist mad, but a casual playthrough is attainable without losing too much hair. The amount of relevant (non-junk) content packed into this game is probably the biggest plus. I would say the one notable downside is the barrier of entry, as some people will just struggle with this game. I wasn't a fan of some aspects of the art style as well, but over all a solid game with plenty of content.
Un juego de manejar una nave, tienes que conseguir aterrizarla en una plataforma y por el camino coger todas las monedas que puedas
The Devs gifted me a key to this D I A M O N D of a game that brought me back to the days of going to the local arcade. Thanks alot <3
